Pain

Pain (ペ イン) is the leader of the Akatsuki organization and of the Land of Rain. He appears first in the chapter 238 of the manga but his face is not seen until the chapter 363. Pain did not have a proper translation in Japanese, 'Pein' was the most used name for Pain, the proper translation would be Pein, although many fans say that his name is Pain (from the English language). Although there are good theories for calling him Pain, there has not been a confirmation.
