Sand Clone Technique |

Gaara creates a copy of himself out of sand, though it lacks color and is immediately recognizable as sand. This means that it is almost useless as a decoy. Unlike most bunshinjutsu, the clone still retains its shape after it's struck, and can even ensnare whatever comes into contact with it. In the anime, Sasori uses a Sand Clone as a body replacement to avoid Kankuro's Black Secret Technique Machine One Shot, though it dissolves once injured. |
