Nagato wasn't able to revive his parents because he did not know how to use the rinnegan, same goes for Yahiko at that time. Furthermore, the Rinnegan can only restor RECENT deaths that it's user have caused :D
nagato didnt kill yahiko well he did but he didnt when nagato picked up the kunai yahiko ranat him that way he would kill himself and make it look lyk nagao did it . . .. and his powers of ressurection can only ressurect the people killed in the last 24 hours but he didnt have this power when yahiko died because his rinnegan wasnt powerful enough cause he barely used it

anyone ever wonder why Nagato didn't just Bring Yahiko back to life with the Jutsu he brings Kakashi & the Rest of the Leaf back with? OR his parents for that matter, & then just live Happily ever after..idk seem's like one big dick head move to me.

What if Naruto was put in the same exact situation as Nagato. Madara had captured hinata or sakura held a kunai to her throat ????? that can definitely be a life changing experience. Sasuke grows and overpowers Tobi which leaves him with no other choice but to make naruto kill sasuke for hinata to survive
