memories of Gon sounding a lot like naruto
New ending is great, good to see Team Gai featured prominently. Can anyone read the sign Naruto put up?
Also, I noticed in the opening that Sakura is the one pushing Naruto up first... was kind of surprised not to see Hinata. In fact, all I saw of her was a tiny bit behind Ino! I'm a NaruSaku supporter but I mean... shouldn't Hinata at LEAST get shown as much as Ino?
Liked the new opening animation. Man Sasuke is gay though, hah.
Liked the new credits animation. They should have more of that sort of thing: just ninjas doing ninja stuff.
This wasn't a bad episode; in fact, the animation seems like a notch above the Shippuden norm. The plot in the manga has gotten crazy and convoluted, so it's almost refreshing to see the gang as young ninjas again, doing the sort of stuff that made the series popular in the first place. The manga storyline has gotten too Dragonball-esque as of late, the only major plot points being the powers that Naruto and Sasuke attain before whatever destined battle they are to have.
Easy way to enjoy the anime: don't read the manga!
Frankly the manga is around 70 chapters in front it would take years for the the anime to come remotely close to where the manga is. The fillers just get annoying after a while.
people should stop complaining about fillers. Yeah, they're there so that the anime doesn't catch up to manga. would you guys rather have nothing to watch while waiting for the storyline episodes of the anime? you should be thankful that the makers of the anime give their effort to make fillers.
To last comment, they're called fillers. And 5 weeks is only 5 chapters, least the fillers are a nice break from all the seriousness for once. Just give it another month or two and we should be back to the plot. If you've ever watched Bleach you'll know that Naruto fillers are nothing compare dot Bleach fillers...
