Naruto's Base Form Taijutsu

This is Naruto in his base form going toe to toe with the Deva Path in a taijutsu fight.

According to the third databook, Naruto's taijutsu by the end of the Itachi Pursuit Arc was a 3.5. But this moment obviously demonstrates that he has improved his taijutsu.

Think about it, the Deva Path was Yahiko's adult body and Yahiko by adulthood should be a more experienced ninja than Naruto. But Naruto was still able to hold his own against him in a taijutsu fight.

So as of now, where would you rank his base form taijutsu skills as of now? In my opinion, at the very least its a 4.

He's definitely not at a 5 that's for sure.

I am going to give Naruto's base Taijutsu a 3.5 but when he goes sage mode it jumps up to a 5.

Databook doesn't describe, how good a person is, at a certain skill. It describes, how much, he has developed in the area. Being 3.5, means Naruto is till far from his maximum potential, being 5. So I would say, he hasn't increased much, at max 0.5. Don't forget that the databook doesn't account for unique abilities like Sage Mode, which improves a persons tajutsu.

Naruto had ran out of sage mode by the time of that scan, look again. Also, with enhanced senses he has increased reflexes which means he's better at dodging and his strength also gets stronger so his overall taijutsu definitely gets increased to what people would consider a 5.

Base naruto tango w/ deva path and deva path stab and beat kakashi in a taijutsu match. Base naruto can also use the taijutsu style frog fu though not as effective when he is in sage mode. Naruto already has 3.5 in the last databook 3 years ago before sm, kcm and bm training claiming he still 3.5 is just not logical. He should have at least 4 to 4.5

That panel is from chapter 433, where Naruto had run out of sage chakra, and while Fukasaku was using the scroll to summon one of Naruto's clones. Naruto was fighting the Deva Path in his base form. At that moment, your telling me that he's still at a 3.5?

If you don't know what I mean, then just go back and re-read the entire chapter if you have to.

I havent read the manga for that fight but in the anime it looks like hes getting slightly overwhelmed..and how does a mini skirmish with one path make him a 4.5?quit overrating.and the paths arent known for there taijutsu so its a baseless claim to hype naruto for that.

The anime can sometimes makes small errors, the manga is more clear, and besides you got to admit that at the very least Naruto is at a 4.
