Why Does Gedo Mazo still exists, after Pain is dead now? (Madara said he would need a new Pawn to sync with it)
I Mean Pain - or rather NAgato - Summoned it in the Battle With Hanzo, How can something like that be controlled by someone else than the Rinnegan user who summoned it (and got stabbed by it with those strange black chakra control things)?
Also, do you think Madara meant exactly with "sync with gedo mazo" ? Just another guy standing on the Fingers and helping extracting the Bijuu? or rather a replacement for Nagato, stabbed with the Black Chakra control Things that somehow seem to be an important connection to gedo mazo?

Gedo Mazo is a statue that have been summoned by Pain, Pain brought the Statue to its existence, It is safely hidden somewhere in one of Akatsuki's hideouts.

First off can you remember that Pain used to provide Itachi and sharkboy with the ability to use another Ninja's body to uses as if it was them selfs fighting Kakashi and gang. He uses the same ability to Summon the statue in battle when needed, Thus if Pain is destroyed its not the statue that goes down with him, its only the summoning that he uses to "teleport" the statue to him, because thats nothing more than what a Summon is in Narutoverse.

Its the similar effect of what happened to the first Sage of the six paths, when he summoned the moon, Even though he have passed away (Safe to presume so!!!!!) the moon still remains, aswell as Konoha, the First created the village, after he have kicked the bucked the village still remained. Until Pain went to renovate it!

i think what he was trying to say was that the things the people created, the moon and konoha, didn't disappear when the founders died. so its safe to assume that the statue is still around.
