Stopped watching One Piece so episodes can add up.

In the summer i started One Piece and i spent every day watching One Piece until i got to episode 560, i just stopped watching because i hated the one episode per week thing you know.

So i decided to wait for a LOT of episodes to come out then i'll spend more time watching them. it sucks to catch up.
I think im going to wait till it gets to episode 600 until i watch it again. I just like watching episode after episode instead of one per week.

Anybody else doing this?

40 episodes....?? O.o that's almost a year if they come out once a week. Probably at least a year with off weeks and such.

It would kill me with 1 episode a week. I'd get more enjoyment out of back to back episodes..

I like the idea of back to back episodes. I also enjoy it more that way. I'd suggest though, instead of waiting for a certain number, you should watch it arc by arc. As in, watch every episode from a certain arc and then only watch again when the next arc is over.

It has all the Sagas and Arcs, aswell as the correspondence between Manga Chapter and Anime Episode, for any given Arc. You can check which episode you left off and see if it's worth watching the remaining episodes of that arc, or just leave it alone for a while.
It will also help you know which manga chapter to pick up in case you want to do the transition (I strongly advise reading the Manga from the start and then just continue through, it's better than the Anime.(I do read and watch though xD))

i do the same thing, but the different is i already watched one piece right from the get go when the anime starts and i kinda find this fish man island arc is quite disappointing and failed my expectations, so i'would rather watch it in 1 go, and of course i'll skip some boring scene,

by the way i stopped at episode 549...........
