Kakashi Hype

Ok, I', getting quite confused with all the Kakashi hype, with him going against top tier shinobi and his ranking be compared to the title of "KAGE." Last time I checked Kakashi has defeated no one of any signifance, countering simple jutsu means nothing at this point. In all his fights i have yet to be impressed, they are entertaining however (vs. Hidan). Despite this what has he done to be full Kage level, who can he beat w/o question that puts him at this level?

I have noted that he for sure has skill, with analyzing a situation, countering specific jutus, etc but fails to pull out a win. Therefore, I'm not hating on his character, hell I use to be a fan but I'm not seeing all this hype behind him of late.

For me I see Kakashi as Jonin Level, which in itself is still very impressive but the ranking itself is being underrated. There is no such thing as low Kage, that's NB talk, you either have it or you dont.


Can he defeat anyone in top 10? 15? (depending on ones ranking)

Again, this isn't me hating but rather trying to understand this hype because I dont see how its emerged.



As many people seem to mention how Kakashi was asked to be Hokage, as proof of him being Kage level that isnt for certain. In part 1 there was already problems with the village having powerfrul enough shinobi to take on the role of hokage, that they only could and would have consider Sannin to be the next. Jman already didnt want this role so Tsunade was the only choice. Once she was out of the pictuethe village had no other cannon elective to pick so they resorted to having to poick Kakashi from this lack of power deomonstrated in the village as a whole.


Now, we know Jman didnt want this role and he was close with Kakashi, of course he would throw his name out. his name out as a last resort.

It's been ever since Tobi was revealed to be Obito. I'm a kakashi fan myself, but i dont think he can beat anyone in the top 10 just yet, but he is very strong none the less

kakashi is in a league of his own, to me, he is like the guy who isnt the strongest, but is the most reliable to get you and himself out of any situation no mater what, like the ace in a hole.

The reason why he can Kamui his own body is due to friendship power/plot

exactly! He is perfect for defending against attacks and helping in anaylzing a situation, this is the guards role. He doesnt have it to fully be considered Kage himself.

but he hasnt gotten anyone out of any situation, he's been saved at the end of most of the encounters he has had. Now, he is reliable and very versatile.

Not JUST because Edo tensei, he WAS top because of his power and knowledge as a medic which rivaled tsunade
His intel on anyone knowing exactly how to create a strategy against them
Dragon Sage Mode which made him almost unstopable in 1v1
Edo tensei was just the topping of the cake for him.

Kabuto is powerful without Edo Tensei. He has Dragon Sage, a master medic, a giant summon, has all the sound 5 abilities. Basically he's Orochimaru 2.0 even if he didn't have Edos.

The abilities whiched he used, his auto healing, and strength plus character is what made him legendary

You can't compare the two. Wood release has many advantages, thus he build the village with it and Hashirama has accomplished a lot with it as well. On the other hand, Kamui has been fancy to cool to see used but has done nothing, but remove Deidara's arm and save his ass from dying.

If Kage is either a you got or you don't situation, Kakashi is an obvious ****ing Kage.

Who did they want as Kage when Tsunade was in a coma? Kakashi.

Can Tsunade, Gaara, or Mei beat anyone in the top 10? NO. Are they still Kage level? Yeah.

Are Tsunade and Mei equal as they are both Kage? NO. Why? Mei is obviously weaker. Would that make her less of a Kage? No... it would make her a "low-Kage" as Tsunade is average in comparison to the rest of the Kages.

There's your answer.

The one thing people always forget about Kakashi and his fights is one of the reasons he always suffers is because he is having to cover lesser ninja that are about to be wiped out. In every fight he has been in up till this last one he was the strongest and had to cover for someone else. If he was ever in a fight and did not have to worry about someone else being killed and could just concentrate on the battle people would have a very different opinion of him.

kakashi also has his 1000 jutsu he has yet to reveal ... obvious he isnt going to use all 1000 but for all we know he could pull out an S class devistation S/T tech that F*cks obito right over this is unlikely but its not just about ur power that makes u kage lvl its ur intellectual prowess aswell as analysing a situation ... just because some ninja dont have super flashy moves doesnt make them any weaker than others its how the jutsu is used that makes them powerful and kakashi uses his raikiri and kamui well and his intelligence is easily top 5
