Hawke didn't really like destruction.
He didn't really like war, or battle, or forcing himself on the spoils of war.
Or that's what he told the pretty little thing he'd caught trying to escape from Kettle City with her family. The dad had waved a hammer threateningly, and had been decapitated for his troubles, but the rest didn't do anything except crying and holding onto their babies as if the fragile little things could save them. They were 9 - Minus a very dead adult male - all in all; two infants, four women between 30 and 50, an old man and two teenagers. The teens were twins, from the looks of it; one boy and one girl, both with the dark hair and skin that was so normal in the Land of Lightning. The girl looked exotic and the boy looked like a whimp, so Hawke cut his legs off and took his sister away for some fun.
The girl wasn't cooperative, to say the least.
Hawke grit his teeth and tried not to think of the redheaded Kunoichi who'd busted his clone. It didn't do to think about failures, but the memory of the woman's condescending tone fed Hawke's anger, which added to the girl's suffering.
It was a pleasure to burn, but fire was for the simple-minded.
After he was done, Hawke rewarded the girl with her life and a copy of the acting Hokage's famous speech on how to treat civilians in wartime.
Suffice to say that Hawke's record on that point was less than stellar.
Leaving the former metropol of a city to burn, the Inuzuka went South with haste, leaving broken minds, buildings and bodies alike in his wake. As much as he hated to admit it; Kumogakure's headset was quite the idea and one of the Whiteys of Konoha had shared quite the plan using that same device.
War never changes.

-from here a clone a jinso's makes it to the grounds and sees the nightmare has only gotten worse when dead bodies lay across the ground and others are at the point where their mentality is completely unstable. he's notice that he is too late since the chakra of the konoha-nin that has created this hell is now gone. this only leave jinso to be more angered and vengeful at konoha. with the shouts screams and yells of rage echoes in the skies of the land of lightning jinso covers his hand with a chidori and repeatedly punches the ground leaving a giant hole that get larger and larger with every punch. the frightened remaining villagers see the clone's pain being exibited they go to comfort him. this moment calms the clone as the tears runs down to his chin.

with nothing else to do they then begin to bury the dead bodies properly and pray to their higher power to have them in a better place. jinso clone's prayer in particular was a prayer of forgiveness for him being too late to save them. with this he disperses returning all of his experiences to jinso causing to tear as he is overcame suddenly with pain!-

As Karin walks home, she melodiously sings the awesome track by the band Fun. The war was finally over and she couldn't wait to see her lovely step-family. She loved blacks and hated racists. Her hate for racists made her get a colourful tattoo across her chest that read:

She loved it in Kumogakure and had no plans on leaving sooner or later. Her step-brother had made coached her into becoming an excellent battle rapper and so she had a tattoo on her back that read:

Her step-dad, Kenzo, is a carpenter, her step-mum, Sasame, is a florist and her 3 step-aunts, Vajiru, Abigeru and Masharu, run a restaurant. The house was unusually quite. 10 people in one house were bound to make all the noise in the village, now that the word had spread that the war was over and everyone and thing was safe again. But it was just too quiet and too suspicious for her to conclude everything was fine although she did not sense anything strange. The clone she had sent to the house was no longer there and the door was wide open.

She quickly rushed in and flipped the light switch on . . . BANG! BANG!! BANG!!! BANG!!!!!!! . . . That sound rang in her ears continuously like a barrage of nuclear missiles . . . Before her eyes were 3 lifeless bodies; her step-dad, brother and granddad. On decapitated, the other without legs and had bled to death and the other cardiac arrested. As her eyes swept through the room, she saw her step-aunts and infant cousins cuddled up and crying and sobbing silently as if bound by an unseen magnet. Then her step-mum, crying and holding her step-sister to her chest as if absorbing her fears. The last and most terrible nightmare of all was her step-sister, Yuri. She was looking but wasn't seeing. She seemed to be in the netherworld. Karin came to her and knelt down infront of her, looking at her face. Although they eye-to-eye, Yuri stared through Karin, as if all in this world were transparent, and in her eyes was a chilling bleakness, as if the landscape of her other world was lifeless, daunting. Karin looked at her step-mum with sober, "tell me it isn't what I think it is" eyes and her mum who understood it and who seemed to be the only one alive, nodded a yes and mumbled the cold, heartless, and sorrowful words that no woman ever wanted to hear . . .

"RAPE! She..she..was raped...Our..baby...was..was raped . . . "

That word resounded in her head as if she was trying to figure out its meaning.

A single tear broke from her left eye and rolled down her cheek. She couldn't even imagine the pain, worthlessness, emptiness, humilation and lack-of-will-to-keep-on-living that the 14 year old girl must be feeling right now.

It took Karin about 10 minutes to get a hold on herself and when she did, she threw her fist at the wall in anger, dealing a huge crack on it. The hate she instantly developed grew more intense than that which she had for racists.

Without wasting any time, she summoned a dog to take the other survivors to the make-shift clinic in the village while she backed Yuri and followed closely. She had just one thought in her mind as they moved.

"Konoha and the filthy rapist must pay . . . "

As he passes through the barrier he continues to walk at a steady pace towards the forest between the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind the sun shines in his eyes peaking out from behind the dark rain clouds that blanket the sky. He begins to sing aloud making his way to the predetermined meeting point.*
