I'm not surprised that he knows about Madara's weakness as Pain also had the Rinnegan and he would have known from him that the Rinnegan can absorb ninjutsu.

However, I don't know how he knows about Obito being intangible for a maximum of 5 minutes, because as far as I'm aware, only Konan knew, and I doubt Konan would have told Shikaku about it.

Well you know that Kakashi had time to travel between the 2dimension at least 2times, so he maybe figured it out at that moment. Both have the same jutsu. Does it even matter anymore? after all the juubi got revived without the nine tails and the eight tails which should technically make up more than 75% of the juubi lel.
A lot of nonsense has been going on in this manga, like Obito having time-space, while Madara, Sasuke and Itachi who are 3 highly skilled uchiahs who have the same set of skills can't use time-space and considering that all the sharingans come from one sharingan.
The question here: is there anything that the Uchiah don't have? they have the most powerful techniques out there and now Obito has time-space too, are you kidding me, this is a uni-polar world, without any rivalry because nobody can touch an uchiha, Sasuke by himself without an EMS almost killed the raikage if gara hadn't stepped in.
Obito at the age of 14 or 15 killed all the black anbu, destroyed half the leaf and killed both Minato and his wife and his time space far surpasses that of Minato himself who was some 24 years old back then and was considered a prodigy in the leaf and one in a million even by Jiraiya himself.

yes but it seems like obito doesnt have amaterasu, susanoo, tsukuyomi izanagi and izanami. itachi and madara still have the majority of techniques obito ist just more unique. i think sasuke now is going to have some sort of new techniques with itachis eyes. and furthermore if sharingan was the most powerful eye y does madara say that the next stage after it is the rinnegan?
