So, your fav. 2012 anime?

Well, as we tend to 2013, I wanted to know your favorite anime which released in 2012.

Mine was Another and Nisemonogatari.

Well, Nisemonogatari was awaited and I expected it to be on my favorites (didn't disappoint obv.). And Another was the 3rd most intriguing anime on my list and the horror blend with psychological twists fascinated me more than what I envisioned. Must-watch!

I was also highly expecting with Black Rock Shooter and while the animation delivered nail-on, I was left disappointed a bit with the extremely slow paced drama. Well, it's a good one-time watch series but I expected so much more.

I was quite busy this past year with exams and stuff and couldn't follow any more new ones. I'm planning to start on some soon...perhaps. That being said, the level dropped a bit compared to last year's outstanding & magnificent Steins;Gate (hands down, my fav. of last year)!

Otherwise, what were your favorites of this year? Anything you'd suggest me...

I'm a really late on this anime, but i finished Code Geass, R1 and R2.
My favorite series that i've watched this year.

However an anime released this year, i enjoyed Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun

Wow, lots of people saying K Project...I heard great things about its animation but I never tried it as the synopsis didn't interest me...

I'm going to try Kuroko no Basket soon. I'm usually a fan of sports anime that's mixed with Shonen elements.

Sakamichi no Apollon
No really, I loved this anime for the year and takes my number one spot. I watched it twice in a week lol. xD But anyway the animation and art was flawless, the characters were amazing and it was just wow. Even if it's got what would seem to be the most cliche plot ever, the 60's setting, jazz music and everything makes it happen well. Cliche doesn't necessarily mean bad.

Umm, I still gotta watch Sukitte ii na yo, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, Kuroko no Basuke, K Project, Mouretsu Pirates, Tsuritama, Psycho Pass plus a whole lotta other things which will probably change my list.

If 2011-2012 anime count then I'd say Fate/Zero and Mirai Nikki were my personal favorites. Both were dark and deep stories that I enjoyed. If it's only 2012 though I liked Accel World and Kuroko no Basket best. Accel World had awesome action with great character development while Kuroko no Basket really surprised me since I don't like sports series much. Kuroko's matches are kinda like Shounen action status basketball matches and it's just really fun to watch.
