neji is not close to mastering the byakugan we haven't seen a real master of the byakugan so it's illogical for you guys to say a byakugan is worse than a sharingan
the rinnegan is just superior to both
nowhere does it state a sharingan is better we just have been more informed
if we can see there leader in a real battle than maybe you guys well relize what the byakugan can do

The Byakugan can't do anything really, all it does is give you benefits to sight.

You can see chakra,
have 360 degree vision,
can see chakra points,
x-ray vision,
telescopic vision,
can see through visual genjutsu (supposedly, I have never seen it in the manga)

No benefits like the other two, just things related to sight. Even a regular 3-tomoe sharingan has way more benefits than that and there is no way for you to argue that. I mean it depends on the user but if you were to have two exact equals in every way and you gave the sharingan to one and the Byakugan to another then the sharingan user would win every time.

The regular 3-tomoe sharingan can:

copy jutsu (and understand the jutsu)
copy movement (like taijutsu or just speed)
can see chakra,
can cast some genjutsu,
can track movement making it easier to follow fast people,
can predict movement (where the opponent will be before they get there)

So yeah you tell me the Byakugan is as good as the regular sharingan, it isn't in any way unless you care more about scouting than fighting, in which case it is the best.
