3rd Raikage vs Guy (8th Gate)

3rd Raikage- Insanely fast and strong just like Guy 8th Gate and has more chakra.

Guy- Fast, Strong,but only taijutsu.

My vote is for Guy even though he has only Taijutsu I think that afternoon tiger would end 3rd Raikage in 8th gate, even though 3rd's body is really unbreakable.

if guy knows the weakness of the 3rd raikage at the beginning of the battle then guy would beat the 3rd raikage using 4-6 gates

Guy has a good chance against him because him throws so many fists all around his body and flames him then 3rd weakness is discovered. That's what he can only count on, or else 3rd would pwn his a$$.

I think third raikage is one of the worst matchups for guy. Guy is all about straight on physical attacks and raikage specializes in tanking these attacks and is known for his extreme stamina. I don't think guy can stay in the 8th gated state for more than an hour, and he is fighting a guy who fought an army for three days. 7th gate afternoon tiger shouldn't be more effective than the rasenshuriken naruto threw and this is because:

- Kisame's body would have been disintegrated by a rasenshuriken, or he would have at least died.
- Afternoon tiger didn't even knock kisame out, it beat the hell out of him, but he was still able to talk after taking that attack head on.
- Kisame didn't even try to dodge the tiger since he thought his shark could swallow it.
- rasenshuriken, even being the third raikage's elemental weakness, still failed to mortally wound him, and also would not have hit him if naruto didn't redirect it twice and work his way into point blank.

That being said, I can't for sure say how the raikage will compare to 8th gated guy since he has never been shown, but if a seventh gated guy can barely do anything, I doubt an 8th gated guy will be able to kill him.

thats true, but the rasengan only worked by redirecting the raikages attack into himself. If the raikage is in control of his body instead of kabuto, I'm sure he will know of his own weakness and not use his super chidori spear.

But I do agree that what you said is a conceivable way that guy could win. But guy would have to have knowledge about the raikage in order to intentionally go for that. And if full knowledge is on, raikage will know all about the gates and that he just has to wear out guy until he can't handle the gates anymore.

I think after whoever can control 8th gate wins no matter what, to bad you die using the 8 gates, but without 8 gates Gai would most likely die to the Raikage.

i guess if the 3rd isnt under IWR then guy would have about 30% of winning cuz the 3rd would have a battle plan and maybe use the one finger jutsu ,but sometimes any1 can get lucky hitting their opponents weak spot

3rd raikage all the way. his ultimate defense cannot be touched by any attacks only if u make him stab himself with his ultimate sword which is stronger than his defense and thats not happening
