i expected alot more than just that -_- and i was hoping that old guy died at least that way this chapter had some meaning to it other than making gaara look even more weaker that what he use to be

On my phone so I'll do a full write up later. But from what I've seen is that the hozuki is a mist clan, maybe the creators of the seven swordsman? Maybe the mizukage is related to sugietsu? This is just speculation, but the reason why mangetsu was able to master all swords could have been that he was in the clan from which the seven swords originated? It may also be the reason behind sugietsu wanting to restart the seven swordsman, to carry on his clan's legacy/if his clan was powerful it could have been the reason why orochimaru kept sugietsu in captivity/as a possible vessel.

Also I thought this was a great chapter, and it's nice to know that Kishi is actually showing full battles. I want to see the kage's powers, and this us gaaras shining moment, he will win this fight for the alliance.

im pretty sure they are related since they share same techs, last name, village.

I'm disappointed for the first time. Tsukikage already ran out of chakra. Gaara's sand is ineffective. That water gun technique could have been more creative.

Even though it wasn't the best chapter i don't mind one bit that Kishi is showing us some battles other than Naruto's. Even though i want to see more of Naruto and his new techniques, part of me wishes he disappears for a good 10-15 chapters while we get to see what the likes of Kakashi, Darui, Sakura etc are up to. Haven't seen Kakashi for a good 30 chapters now! Like i said, please show us way more battles for the supporting characters as it would prolong the series!!!

- Bad guy seems too strong
- Hope is lost
- They show some histroy on the bad guy
- Naruto pops in or gaara finds a random way to win.

This was actually a pretty good chapter and rather interesting to say the least I believe we will see what the technique was that was used to kill both Muu and "Houzuki" Mizukage.

But the question that raises now....how did the Mizukage learn this technique if it was developed by Muu's ancestors o_O

interesting chapter but this whole * pummel down, attempt seal, fail seal, pummel down again, attempt more efficient seal , fail seal, enemy levels up, round 3 to be continued...* THING can get abit tedious and that leads to frustration and that leads to disappointment, right now i dont mind coz we got to see what the mizukage has got, but next chapter better wrap it up and it best not take the whole chapter aswell, heck i wouldnt mind naruto intervening again to finish it off that much quicker although i think killer bee will be THE backup next .

That is apparently the name of the Mizukage’s infinite explosion technique. So, we know he will probably blow up again and again, but how exactly will it work? Are we talking about Deidara’s C4 type scale, or is sorta like his clays, in other words, he needs to hit a target for it to explode.Anyway, i hope somebody important get to see the art of explosion up close,and actuallly die(not gaara)


Also nice to see that onoki's age is starting to show.

Not the best chapter, but not the worst either. It deserves a mediocre 3/5.

This chapter was aight but like everyone else is saying it was a little on the boring side. I have a lot of mixed feelings, I mean one part of me wants Naruto to stop being all over the place and let the side characters have their time to shine but then it's like the side characters aren't offering much. I liked seeing Gaara used a new technique but seeing fail makes it lose all credibly. I don't want things to go by too quickly but at the same I want to just get on with it. I want to see the fights we've been waiting months to see, you know the ones that have been greatly foreshadowed, like Naruto vs. Sasuke, Naruto(or anyone for that matter) vs The Six Paths of Madara, Madara vs Kabuto, however after recent events it seems like it's going to turn out to be Itachi vs Kabuto, which would be a good way for Kabuto to meet his end. At the hands of one of the people he brought back from the dead but if that happened then we wouldn't know who was in the last coffin unless Kabuto uses it against Itachi.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I want to get onto the stuff we've been waiting patiently for and if we're going to run into detours like this then at least make it interesting. And by interesting I mean someone should die... We're pretty low on the (important) death count. Why have a war if your not going to kill a few characters. The last important death I can remember was Konan.

That last technique seems to be a Bakuton release. I'd give Mizukage a lot of credit if he can use blast release. But then again, doesn't Bakuton belong to Iwa only? So what if Muu knows Blast release as well and it was a translation error in the manga?

Nice chapter overall. It seems all the villages are more related than we might think. Specially in the past.
