Man I really hope they didn't die but honestly the author's gonna make us believe that they are dead but they did survive or are trapped and that Romeo is gonna help (with others) rescue them. Like someone else said before if I am not mistaken. Or that he really just killed off all/most of the main characters. Which If Natsu is dead then I'm gonna be SOOOO F***'n PISSED. And I might just stop reading it all together! (Empty Threat, lol Probably still gonna read it to see where it goes, and I alredy read this much into it, why stop now, yea know?) Either way did NOT see it/this coming.

What if zeref and romeo are one in the same. Jellal had like five alternate versions of himself. I believe one was a clone? Since zeref is supposed to know like all magic or be the ultimate, would it really be impossible for him to have split bodies or made a clone that is younger than the original. He said he's been walking around for like 400 years waiting for Natsu. This boy is waiting for Natsu. I don't think it impossible. It could even be an alternate reality's Zeref.

It's totally obvious... Romeo ... becomes ... Hououin Kyouma! (Yes I'm supporting the Romeo = Zeref theory that was previously formed)

No, really though, putting aside metaphysical impossibilities, it's a fictional fantasy anime and they've already allowed duplicate characters to coexist in the same dimension (re: Edolas).

So, let's just go with the recent theory that Romeo is in fact Zeref. Romeo's chilling in the Guild Tavern while the island gets obliterated, catches wind of the terrible news, vows to become stronger and does indeed power up. Then maybe at some point in the future he obtains the root of magic and becomes capable of time-travel. BUT, the power is really unstable and whenever he attempts to change something in that current time period, something horrible goes wrong and he ends up in a completely different time period.

And then after many more futile attempts at changing history, he discovers he can't easily deviate from the ... *DUNDUNDUN* "ATTRACTOR FIELD" and witnesses the unraveling of bad stuff anyway. And then suppose he goes into a state of madness and his unstable power causes misfortune around him, which becomes history for present day Earthland. Then he blacks out and finds himself in a different time period again.

Hi everyone, I just signed up so I can post my thoughts.

1) The boy in chapter 253 on the last page is ROMEO (Maccao's son) - that can be confirmed in chapter 234 on the last page.

2) The dragons disapeared in X777 - While the truth is they are hiding from acnologia.

3) Dragons cant kill thier own kind, hence they trained the Humans that CAN slay dragons & gave them Dragon Slayer's powers in order for them to stop Acnologia (Which they failed to do).

4) The Female character that was shown in chapter 253 is infact Mavis Vermillion - lets look at it in that way - Mavis was never told to be a man or a woman + Fairies might have a diffrent languages and mavis might be a female name for fairies (Like Mike is a girl nickname in germany).

5) Acnologia isnt a dragon but is a creation of Zeref, hence the dragons cant deal with his overwhelming powers.

6) Time Skip - It may be that Tenrou Island did got teleported somewhere but teleported through time, since lets review it that way - Acnologia fires his breath - a momentarly crater is formed in the sea & then closes. Now lets say that the island did got teleported through time - then that beam missed the island & went straight into the ocean causing that temporal crater [Also logicaly - if that beam would have hitted the island and blast it off - the crater wouldnt have been made since the impact of the hit must have been somehow lowred the force of the hit (not to mention that it was powerfull enough to oblitirate the island so that would also lower its force when it reaches to the ocean's floor - physics ) & by that making the crater (which should have been made by going all the way to the buttom of the ocean - which I belive to be very deep)].

*Insane thought tho not 100% wrong - Romeo is infact Zeref! He admired Natsu like Romeo did & he longed to see him once again. My guess would be based on others theory, but they all disapeared in a diffrent timeline, romeo trained in the dark ways of magic in order to do what Ultear failed to do - Travel through time to see Natsu once more (in the past that is), but due to overwhelming powers that he posses (and couldnt control) & the dark magic that he has explored back in the days made nature rejects him (Not to mention creating demons and items out of the blue). So now, he wished for Natsu to end his life because he belived only he can do that (As he see's natsu as if he was the strongest mage from back then that saved his dad).

Now to make things clear - the time traveling Romeo was from another Timeline, while he traveled to the past (Which he may have changed the timeline by doing so, since he wasnt suppose to be there in that era - also Nature might reject him since he is way older than he should be while co-existing with his yougner version - though it might be his Dark Magic that causes Nature to reject him).

All of the above are my theories (some are my own and some are the ones I formed after reading everyone's thought about it and just combining the pieces with my own.

ya know, hasnt anyone thought any of this stuff by now...
1) That girl who prayed for fairy tail was definatly mavis or a fairy.
2) Ul's daughter can use the Time Arc magic... riiight? well put two and two together... and you have some reincarnation going on.
3) they do a "defensive" spell/ transportation spell and then say, "TO FAIRY TAIL"
4) the author would lose to many readers if he killed off natsu and happy. plus there wouldnt even be lu cy's (. )( .)
5) woulda just killed off 4 Dragonslayers ( also its 4 vs one dragon... really... really Hiro)
6) the boy shown in the end hasnt changed in looks in the past seven years. he was shown before the time skip and after and his looks didnt change
7) what if they teleported the entire island, and the dragons blast only his a little bit of the island before they teleported elsewhere. that would explain the "no debris and no signs of life"

You're bit wrong there. You got that from Eurotrip, but you're making a mistake there. Mike is not female in German, but Mieke is. Mieke is a 100% female name, while Mike is a 100% male name. But their pronounciation is very different. In the movie he read Mieke the same as Mike, hence the humorous mistake in the movie.

Dutch is my mother language btw and Dutch and German are very similar. So unless Hiro wants to create the illusion that the culture of fairies is something completely different, Mavis is pretty much a male name. Not much writers go fot that option as it's more saver to use, even if it's another race, to create names that clearly give a male and female vibe. That way people feel more connected, otherwise people get confused.

1) Both of them have been suggested several times in this thread

2) It was clearly stated that she can't us anything on living things directly and that she could do some things in the nature of time warp only if she had complete access to the origin of magic. She witnessed the blast from a distance and she didn't had that access. So no I highely doubt Ul did something like that.

4 and 5) Logically, it's highely doubtful he actually killed all of them.

6) You're incorrect. He was only shown after the timeskip. Yes there was a panel from before the timeskip, however that panel was already from the future. So you had the normal timeline, then a panel from the future, then normal timeline again and then timeskip. Someone posted that panel to show that you can see a date on the newspaper, which is a date from the future. With other words his looks didn't change because it was twice the same person at the same time.
