Pathetic.... Thats the only way to describe this weeks chapter, Hiro should have drawn out the fact that tenrou island still excisted a little bit longer before showing that their is a ray of light that is appearing. no lets just end all the characters, wait a week, show the guild in shambles, then bring them back instantaniously... Bad planning IMO

The chapter ain't that bad, what more do you expect considering the remaining FT members. So, the boy who stared at the sea is Romeo indeed. Its sad to see the sorry state of FT. I would like to see the strong members returning and kicking those Twilight Orge members. Its disappointing to see the grown-up being too weak and pathetic. The young ones were much much stronger in every aspects, the same can be seen in Romeo.

That's why its time skip. No one noticed the trace about Tenrou except when Ichiya found out finally after 7 years.

FT is getting more and more interesting. With what new powers will the strong FT members come back, can't wait to see it...

Most people find this stupid, pathetic and are dissapointed. I beg the differ. I'm not going to say I personally like it that much, however I do respect it as something like this has never been shown before. It's a unicum! I mean the entire group of protagonists disappeared completely and their guild is in poverty. You really need to have guts to do something like that as it could go very wrong, but the reason why I like it is because it's so realistic. That the guild would become like that is very realistic as both the new generation as the leading generation got "wiped out".

It's that sense of realism I like. Also most of the time people complain that things are too obvious, good guys win, bad guys loose. Who ever saw this coming? I too rather see a happy FT, but people expect directly after a time skip everything is better. I like it that Hiro shows that there are other possibilities. I mean at this point this isn't just a timeskip, the entire plot really got smashed. Something nor Bleach nor Naruto did.

I hereby claim officially the title of being the first one to say on NB that it was Romeo and not Zeref or anyone else

Didn't expect it to be this boring without Natsu and the others, ah well.. the end basicly said they're still alive and the others will be looking for em, I hope they're gonna give us a GOOD reason why they needed to do a 7-year timeskip for this.

I think it's very brave of Hiro to destroy the guild like this. The years weren't very kind for a lot of charachters. Especially Macao and Droy. Bisca, Alzack, Leedus and Romeo are looking a lot better though then pre timeskip.

I don't mind that the story took a turn like this. Instead of endless arcs of the same people we finally will have a 25+ group of main characters instead of the usual teens who save the world.

I don't think this is a bad chapter. This is a great first chapter for an arc. We finished with fairy tail who could defeat everything on their path. And one dragon changed it all. Look how misrable they are without the people they used to rely on.

I agree with the person who posted that I'm a bit dissapointed that they said the main group is still alive somewhere. I wouldn't mind if Hiro kept us anticipating for another 2-3 chapters.

I really want to see who is still alive and how much everybody changed. I'm expecting Elfman with longer hair and a lot of scars on his chest.

I wonder if Makarov survived another seven years. If he has... he will be bald :P

@rest. I'm disappointed because I expected......more. A hell of a lot more. I agree with what you said about not expecting that, but thats not entirely true. I mean One Piece has us all rooting for the Straw Hat Pirates, or another Pirate Group. They are evil. It must be really hard to get readers to like a group of evil people to the point that they want to wipe out all the Marines like they were corrupt when they arent.

I'm cool with the being in poverty part.
Cool with Romeo being the kid.
Not cool with the WAY they found out that Tenrou still existed. No other way possible? Like at ALL?
And to do it in the very next chapter from the time skip without letting the characters build up a some is a bit quickened and rushed IMO. I think 3-5 chapters would have been a more appropriate entrance by Ichiya....if there was NO OTHER WAY POSSIBLE. Like if Mystigun broke out of jail or something and fell on the Guild floor simply saying

"Erza...." and then passing out or something would have been hot. Then gave 2 chapters for his recovery, which would be used to further develop the personality of the other guild members, 2 chapters for him to tell how he escaped and got all messed up trying to run from acnologia and barely got away...blah blah blah......I just expected MORE

I have to disagree, yeah I'm curious what's the deal with Romeo and expect him to be the main character in this arc, but seeing FT like a bunch of pushovers and Macao as master, never liked him :S I wouldn't even mind if they had returned in this chapter.

Although I would've preferred Jellal(Mystogan is in Edolas, not the same guy!) being the one who finds out and brings the message aswell.

I mostly liked FT for the action, so yeah.. for me this is a dissapointment

@bolded.....I meant to say Jellal or Mystogan. Jellal for the breaking out of jail part, Mystogan/Mystigun for finding out a way to travel back across. Either way would have been fine with me. Both of them would still possibly have Erza's name on their lips as they fell. It would have been perfect....IMO

@rest....but there is no development. No mystery involved your way. whats the point of doing a 7 year time skip and you dont have any mystery involved whatsoever? I think I would be more upset if they all just came back the first chapter of the new arc than the way he did it.

Aha, well Mystogan returning would be even weirder in my opinion, since you'd definately need magic to go to another world and Edolas was completely drained and I can't remember Mystogan having anything special with Erza.

But still, the Jellal part would have been so awesome, he was awesome during the Oracion Seis arc.

So, the island still lives but as it seems it teleported away, most likely with all the missing FT members on it, but still no sign of them after 7 years.

They must be in some sort of different dimension, like Edolas but something else

About the people who keep talking about Mystogan: he's never going to come back. As I recall at the end of the Edoras arc the narrator made a comment that they never would meet again + they don't have any kind of magic left in Edoras.
