I'm actually gobsmacked. It showed he had both EMS and then even went further and activated the Rinnegan. I'm actually speechless. I don't have no theory or anything anymore. How on earth did the 1st Hokage even fight against Madara, let alone defeat him apparently. I'm shocked, truly I will just sit back and watch out for some theories and then give my response.

GAARA is just awesome.......he pulled Madara out of Susano'o? Why didn't he do that to Sasuke at the summit?
With all the hype we gave Madara, he sure deserves the Rennigan. The guy is just merciless...Raikage, Killer Bee should better come and team with Naruto, coz before we know it, Madara will summon the nine tails and things will get ugly...

don't know what to think really. madara has great powers, but i didn't realy like the sharingan can become rinnegan bit, isn't it obvious sasuke will now awaken the rinnegan somehow or other. i like the implications of the conversation between madara and kabuto though, the golden age bit and oro's researchi n particular, plus now that madara has been shown to posess the rinnegan where does this leave tobi?

at least this chapter will end the stupid EMS>Rinnegan discussions xD

well, the moon-eye plan requires Sharingan, Rinnegan, and the ten-tails. If Madara had two before death, then he just needed the ten-tails. This "Fraud" Tobi apparently didn't have the Sharingan/Rinnegan stage like Madara, but he had the Sharingan and the Tailed beasts. Either my Idea of Tobi being a Ztzu cloan is still a possibility--when Tobi said he's still a "shell" of his former self, maby the Rinnegan is one of the things he ment.

This chapter was epic, I suspected the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan could awaken into the rinnegan, since the sharingan is a by product of the rinnegan. I wonder how they will take out Madara's edo, to be honest I think either Itachi will show up and go all totsuga and will seal him into his Susano'o or madara will go and kill everyone except naruto.

I know everyone is shocked EMS+hard work=rinnegan makes sense and people this is where i think kishi is getting at with the whole descendants and kekkai genkai
We all know about so6p sons who essentially became the uchiha and the senju which brings us to Hashirama and Madara now im not saying one is stronger but because 1st hokage thought he won i personally think he did a sasuke and just left Madara there in the final valley to die but he didnt and between then and the kyuubi attack it is possible that he went and saw Muu the guy who can do the body splitting and Madara may have learnt that this then goes onto my next point about how madara is more than likely a DIRECT descendant of the 1st son and was therefore able to unlock not only ms but could then use ems and somehow unlocked rinnegan
so then thats how masked madara can use rinnegan techs because he could have been split from Madara
so about what i was talking about earlier about descendants its obvious that there are three shinobi clans that can successfully use the full capacity of
1. Bijuu control
2. Rinnegan
3. Sharingan
those clans are the two that are directly descended from the so6p sons senju and uchiha and the cousins of the senju the uzumaki whihc is where i think masked madara didnt like and so he killed all of them, now only one clan remains that can use it and that is the uchiha because they have the most alive in their clan
this could lead onto several other variables such as the original fight for first hokage may not have been that at all and why are the uzumaki clan destroyed and what was the real reason for the uchiha massacre
finally im sorry if you read this so far but i promise im just about done
i think that sasuke will fight masked madara as he will learn some other truth somehow, naruto will learn about the fate of the uzumaki clan and the allied shinobi force will get its ass handed to it by madara who has fought for like three minutes and just pulls ms ems and rinnegan all one after another

Now that we know Madara awakened the Rinnegan shortly before his death, it's probable he had them during his battle with Hashirama senju and the first hokage defeated him with his mangekyo sharingan abilities, and the abilities of the rinnegan, which makes him even more badass!
