Well you probably need the ems and than get senju dna to unlock the rinnegan. Orochimaru wouldn't of been able to obtain the ems, so i really don't know how he would obtain the rinnegan.

Is senju DNA what releases the rinnegan then? Orichimaru was pretty twisted mind, didn't he want sasuke so he could have his body? Although his ultimate goal i guess wasn't the eyes at all...

I think he wanted his body due to the fact of Madara Uchiha. Yes u do need hashirama for the rinnegan but the sage power still rests in the uchiha. Or part of it

Although he got hashirama's dna because he worked with danzo, but also because he did tested it out on yamato, he wouldnt have been able to get the ems, unless if he had succeeded with obtaining itachi's body he wouldve then somehow manipulated sasuke to activate his ms, then take his eyes and have the ems. Then with hashirama's cells and the secret behind madara's body that he and kabuto discovered, activate the rennigan.

Or thats why he tried it with sasuke after itachi beat him.

No dude this makes no sense, Orochimaru OBVIOUSLY only wanted Sasuke so that he could set Sasuke and Karin up and get his own reality TV Show much like The Millionaire Matchmaker. Why would Orochimaru want that kind of power, its not like he wanted to master every jutsu in the universe and the only way you can do this is to have the power of the So6P

Oro wanted the sharingan long before he fought with itachi he knew every thing and every details about all the ocular powers an how he can obtain eternal life after he become the SOSP i presume.

he wanted a special , powerfull uchiha body, not any random uchiha, sasuke and itachi were special , capable of amazing things, yes he showed interest in the sharingan, part 1 when he met with kakashi he said " that sharingan of yours, i'm jealous" so yes he wanted sharingan, butt according to recent chapters, he wanted to go beyond the sharingan and get rinnegan

iDont think Rinnegan is a uchiha ability. iThink it runs in the people/family of the people who's blood ties are closest to the sage. Although yeah madara achieved it There're was said to be 6 more people who could use rinnegan before nagato.

But if whats being said on NB is true then oro wanted sasuke/itachi for there uchiha blood and sharingan and then prob would off fused the 1st cells into himself for the purpose off getting as close as possible to being the sage off 6 paths
