I figured that if I go back into the past to fix a mistake, I would make my future worser than what it is. If I go to far into the future I would know to much and be cautions of the present. What am trying to say is that everthing happens for a reason, no use of changing it. In my opinion. LOL

I would go back in time to when the first time machine would be created, and discourage the person, saying it will do nothing but bad things. Then I would just stay in that time, and live out my life from that point on.

Since is seems to me that the universe is not deterministic philosophically or physically, traveling forward in time is impossible.

But if I could travel back, I would travel to a time before my dad married my mother and talk to him - tell him I love him and that he's going to have a son like me. That instead of wasting his life and our relationship he needs to believe in himself and realize that it doesn't matter who loves him or who doesn't because I, along with the rest of the world, need him to love himself more than any one else.

Only then will he become the kind of man that leaves this world a better place than he found it.

So realistically - about two months.

Hopefully then he'll stay out of the Mormon cult that he's been in for the past 35+ years - which has drained him of his life, family, money & dreams.
