I hate to say this (only because I barely know anyone here) but we all have it in ourselves to make a world a better place. Most of the problems in the world today are attributed to our flawed system. We live in a world where profit drives people and the goal is always more, more, more.

The good news is people are starting to wake up, just look at the Occupy Wall Street movement, it's even made it's way to little old Montreal.
