This is the only reason religion, mainly christianity annoys me. It assumes that non believers are people that 'have not yet seen the light (pardon the pun)'. They assume that the unenlightened need to be informed and made to understand god. I think this kind of thinking could be somewhat compared to cult logic. Besides I thought christianity was supposed to be a deeply personal and spiritual journey - not one they someone convinces you into.

Regardless everyone has a different opinion that is equally as valid as the next. Just because someone does or doesnt believe to me is irrelevant. Its is when people try to force their ideas on others that I find it irritating.

On a side note I do not believe any such god exists. If he was as great as everyone claimed he was then he wouldn't let such bad things happen. Instead of waiting for you life to have meaning in your afterlife, why not make the life you have now more meaningful.

like satan said its better to rule in hell than serve in heaven. do you even know the bible it says that when you die you get to serve others that were better christians than you what a paradise. gods were mad out of fear to control simple minded folk into obeying mans law. if you got caught breaking a law way back you werre punished but if you got aaway with it whats to stop you from doing what ever you want. i am glad many people are able to find happiness in their cults, religions and beliefs wheather they are dedicated or not. just dont try to convince anyone to abandon their religion because you think the key to it is flawed. we all know the bible has been rewriten like 1 billion times so of coarse things "change"... we cannot stop that

As for me, I do not believe in a god.
I went through something in my life that made me lose faith.

However it does not mean that religion should be trash talked.
Religion has indeed caused many problems, including wars.
But its good far outweighs the bad it does.

Religion is all that some people have. It keeps people going. It's so beautiful to see how inspired by their god some people get.

It may be a super controversial topic, so I won't say much more.
I do not believe in a god.
Religion is beautiful.
