well what about bin laden and his band of flunkies they attack the U.S. we have freedom of religion but we had no ill will towards muslims now most of the uneducated people in america think all muslims are bad or terrorists wich is not true of course. I deleted the other parts because you just related negativity (war) with religions. There was no supportive post on wars and religion afterwards.

Elaborate then cause' you went against religion on a war basis without any backup. Like Hyperion said, there's no war that's been caused by religion except perhaps religious wars which are like religious conflicts and few take war proportions.

Just because someone is an atheist doesn't make them hateful. I am atheist, and despite the fact that I think that the concept of god is stupid, I also understand that peoples faith brings them much comfort and makes alot of people happy. If you find something in your life that makes you happy than i'm all for it. I only disagree when people try to convert others to that concept and treat them like they are wrong or not yet worthy of something because they dont 'believe'.

So I guess you could say im an atheist, without problems with personal faith as long as it isn't enforced on others.
