lol true, no offence, but with the last chapter that came out we kinda see how far beyond kakashi is naruto, so this tread is kinda useless...

I think Kakashi said that because Naruto was able to mix his wind chakra with his Rasengan, which is something Kakashi cannot do.

Naruto's new style of fighting is probably better for characters like Pein.

Kakashi was fighting God Realm Pein first, which is the strongest Pein. And I think Kakashi actually destroyed the "bean" Pein with a Raikiri...

it's just not a fair comparation between these 2.....for me kakashi always will be a greater ninja....he's only disadvantage is his lack of chakra...he was a genius since he was a child....+ the sharingan ...speed...everything....and btw-jiraiya was way better than everyone....(in my opinion)....I don;t like to say it but naruto - nine tails = only his ambition to never give up....-but this wasnt a guarantee to win every fight

kakashi could sneak on kakuzu(who was ver very smart and very skilled) without beeing noticed ...kakuzu noticed even the damn bird....so thats a proof how powerfull kakashi really is

I agree....Kakashi is the type of person to never waste a move, and he has a vast repertoire of jutsus at his disposal. Naruto isn't completely at Kakashi's level. However, he may get there shortly if he keeps on using the Kage Bunshins like he's been using them during/after the Kakuzu battle. I honestly think that Kakashi is at a Hokage's status. He is also one of the only characters that were shown to have this kind of growth.....he could take on the title of Hokage if something happened to Tsunade.
