It was probably just a mis-translation. I doubt they literally saw the spirits of Jiraiya & Minato standing there.....but then again.....

Thank you "deidarakun" I was hoping not to repeat myself again about Tsuande being able to see the 4th and Jman in Naruto. Not to insult anyone but sometimes I think people post of stuff just to add to there count cuz some posts dont make sense at all. Sometimes it requires a middle school intelligence to figure out what the manga is trying to say. For instance in this case. The 4th and Jman didnt appear out of nowhere to help Naruto, its just that Naruto reminds people of Jman and the 4th cuz of his looks and his new way of being, strenght as well.

By "familiar form" he means, that its just like the 4th and Jman used to act and move. Not that the 4th and Jman appeared out of nowhere.

First of all it wasnt said by Bunta. 2nd I believe Kishi isnt writing this in Elementary level. Gamakeche is referring to the way Naruto behaves himself now, how diciplined he has become, how strong he has become and how much confidence he has now, similar to Jman and the 4th. That's why Gamakeche says that about "familar forms" and thats why they picture the 4th and Jman besdies Naruto, cuz he reminds certain people of them. That's why Pa Toad says that Naruto has surpassed the previous generation.

btw, i have seen 3 different translations of this. "familiar forms" means how naruto can fight like jman and minato. not that they can see it.
