So yeah, I created this to answer ANY question about OP, whether it's about the manga or the anime, so as long as it is objective. If it's subjective questions like what I think of Luffy's face or if Chopper looks cute to guys, I suggest creating a thread about that.

The reason why I made this is to stop random threads from popping up all the time, like should I get into One Piece blah blah. If you're asking about background music, please specify the episode, the part where the music starts, and where you watched the episode (as in provide a damn link).

If a mod would edit this I would be happy, I'm not good at organizing shit like this.

Q: Does Luffy ever reach his goal?
A: We're halfway through the story dear. So obviously, no.

Q: Romance?
A: Oda mentioned that he wouldn't be doing romance, like in-depth Boy x Girl relationships. There are a few canon relationships in the manga though, and more than a few hints in the anime. But if you're talking about a man's romance, there are plenty!

Q: Should I skip Skypeia?
A: Why would you do that to yourself? Do not skip anything canon.

Q: Filler episodes I should know about?
A: Look at the top of this page and click Episode Guide. You should be set for life.

Q: Why is Vivi called Bebe in the manga?
A: Around 2004-5 when the manga was first scanned, scanlation groups didn't know the correct romanization of the names. Until Oda came out with 'Vivi', the groups used Bebe, Bibi, BB. Same goes for Loofy, Roofy.

Q: Early scans aren't high quality!
A: Go ask yourself why you're so ignorant.

Q: Fairy Tail looks too much like One Piece!
A: Here's the thing. One Piece came MUCH earlier, the authors AREN'T the same, and NO Hiro Mashima isn't Oda's understudy.

Oda mentioned in an SBS addressing exactly that. I don't recall everything word for word, but he said that losing your dream is far more agonizing and painful than losing your life. In death, you escape responsibility. In having your dreams shattered, you are alive to see your dreams, your hard work crumble with your own eyes.

Ohara civilians and random nameless marines count as people too, go see Akainu for that... Also, newsflash! Bellamy died, in case you couldn't tell! So, people die in One Piece. Got it? :D

Enel didn't even die, and Arlong and Lucci are probably still out there to. As said above, the fact that they all got pwned by Luffy is Oda's substitution for death.

Well then again, him dying wasn't confirmed either, but do you honestly think he survived Zoro's Asura Ichibugin? I don't think Zoro would have said "sorry" if he knew Kaku was still alive.

I have my doubts regarding that. Reading manga made me feel that Oda just wanted to end few characters (mostly opponents) by silencing them into sleep rather than making sure that they are dead. It leaves a thin scope of probability for the character to reappear at another time.

But that's the way I feel about Oda and the way he completes an arc. Correct me if I am wrong!! But the only main antagonist who is still in running after the end of an arc is ENEL so far. But we know last that he went for the moon which leaves a possibility of him not coming back.

Yeah I remember, I just mean't Bellamy wasn't killed by Luffy. And do you know which chapter it showed the CP9 escaping? I watched Eneis Lobby in the anime so I don't remember that happening.
And yeah wouldn't Arlong have been in Impel Down? If so, then maybe he escaped to? I have a feeling (or at least hope) that we'll see him again.

I very much wish he is!!! The ending to such a beautiful friendship would be cruel. And I do not think Oda will let it end without a proper farewell or something (That too if only it has to come to an end).

Still more than half story left... A lot left for new and old characters to be introduced and revived.
