My thoughts: It's called Kepler22b, and wow does it look ever so magnificent; however, It doesn't help that this planet is 600 light years away from our world. X_X I mean...come on...how are we suppose to get there? Sorry, but the Holodeck is only real on Star Trek. >_>

I agree with you. According to the Kepler observatory project, the mission is just to help scientists determine just how common such planets may be throughout our galaxy. Thus far, they have found 1,235 exoplanet candidates. Mind you, this takes $600 million dollars to run...which is quite ridiculous. X_X

I say we stop observing and start trying to find a way to get to these habitable planets....

We won't be reaching there anytime soon. As I've said before currently it's impossible to travel that far. Theories have been brought up that future spacecraft could go as fast as the speed of light; however, the human body cannot sustain in that amount of G's. So in the end before we even got Kepler you'd be already dead.

I believe what Sanji said in fact is correct on that theory

If a simple amusement park ride can kill a person like some incidents in Disney World and others because of the speed and force, then how is our bodies going to sustain that acceration in a speed of light spacecraft?

no faster space ship will help us reaching there we need a technology to expand worm holes so we can utilize them.

nearest star 4.+ light years away, fastest space ship at present would take 80 000 years to reach there.

not even going to try calculate how long would it take a planet thats 600 light years away.
