I apologize my friends but I wish not to discuss this topic further with you guys. I am stubborn and we won't get anywhere with the tude I am in at the moment. I value your opinions but I choose to disagree.

Marijuana has done alot of damage to my family. I like weed don't get me wrong but when I see the damage it has done to friends and family and how they eventually turned like vegetables (mentally not literally) it just makes me want to never want to touch it again.

I live next door to Juarez, Mexico. And for those of you who stay current on the news know that there is a lot of violence there. More worse than Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and whatever crime-ridden places you can think of. A lot of family and good friends have died there for stupid shit but it all began with drugs like Marijuana which eventually led to cocaine and other worse drugs.

Anyways, thanks OP for the debate but I must take my leave before I become enraged and lash out at someone.

THC is only the psychedelic part of the bud, there are many more NATURAL chemicals in bud that hold the healing properties (reduction of swelling, regrowth of brain cells, etc.). Just because THC is the most talked about aspect of bud doesn't mean its the only thing that makes it up. And yea i've meet a pothead, I consider myself one and i have a 3.5 this semester at uni. I smoke probably 2-3 times a day, have experimented with other drugs (not for the fact of it being the "gateway" to a better high since all "highs" are different, I personally chose to try these substances. BTW gettin high and rollin face on molly are WAYYY different feelings) and enjoy using other drugs from time to time. potheads arent idiots, they just enjoy life at a different pace.

I know people are up in arms if someone mentions a racial stereotype yet turn to a smoker and throw the "pothead" title. while it doesn't seem like a major thing, to people who get looked down on because they are "lazy potheads", it is a big deal. it's one of the big things keeping marijuana illegal; I mean, it's hard to advocate for its legalization when a whole country views you as lazy and useless for smoking.

I used to smoke weed everyday several times a day for 2 years (2008-2010) lol Weed got me through school. In high school I was an average student, when I got to college I started smoking weed, a combination of "peer pressure" and just being bored out of my freaking mind!! I went to one of the biggest party colleges in the US (Ohio University) which runs on one of the biggest drug trafficking highways in the US (interstate 33), so I was exposed to a lot of different drugs. Never once tried anything except Mary J, got All A's and B's in every class. Don't smoke weed anymore because I have a great job, so my point is, I just proved you wrong in everything you just claimed, besides the medical part, of course people are going to abuse it like that because it's the only way to smoke it legally, seems kind of apparent to me.
