I agree with rofl as far as the meaning aspect. With that in mind I think the curse seal and anbu symbol are good ones to go with since they both have other parts that aren't 100% anime/manga specific. ANBU is cool because it translates to "Dark Side", that one gets my vote and is actually something I considered getting myself within my half-sleeve.

Found this one of Naruto that sparked some interest, it looks pretty badass and could also relate to that 'inner demon' we all have. Doesn't look cartoonish either.

Cool thing about it is that at first glance it doesn't look like Naruto, looks almost like an animal or demon. So you wouldn't be judged as a nerd/geek by those that dislike anime/manga. Also if you happen to hit the jackpot and score a hottie that is into manga and anime then you got that to score some points. WIN - WIN :D

I would pick some symbol, which I like and which does have some meaning. IN japanese mythology, wherever but not ony in Naruto

In my opinion thsese would be some good candidates for a cool tatoo:

- Naruto�s seal - you could make it so to incorporate the 9tails into the seal, sort of like following the outter rim or inside. Meaning = trapping your inner deamon, or kepping it in check, etc.
- Cursed Seal - same meaning as above
- AnBu - meaning it represents your dark side or humans dark side
- A semi open scroll with some wording in it
- A toad - popular amulets in Japan, reputation for bringing back anything that leaves (goes for money, clients, friends, etc). They are called FUKU GAERU.

Still, your opinion is the only one that should matter since you will be the one wearing it.

my brother got a tatto of the hiddin leaf sysmbol on his right 4-arm. i'm getting itachis sasukes madaras and kakashis MS on both wrist and and on my shoulder musle close to my neck. at first i was going to get this on my back but changed my mind.
