Re: South Korean people…
So you're capable of speaking the same language as her? I wouldn't worry about interesting topics, just ask her general questions about herself & tell her some details about yourself & talk about classes. You'll probably find that you have things in common that you weren't expecting, then once you know what she's into you can brush up on the topics. I'm sure she's interested in making friends too.

No, I just can speak English as my second language, but thanks for your advices! Yeah, I'm sure she's interested in making friends since she seems to be alone for now.

LOL! Our jokes are mostly related to the people of my country so she won't laugh at them while they're really funny for us!
Anyways, thanks to you too!

Re: South Korean people…
As some suggested, casual talk is usually the way it goes anyway, so why not try it?
Btw, just a pointer from a nerd: If you're to talk to a Korean person about drawn series, talk about manhwa first, then, perhaps, manga
Naw, I'm sure there are lots of Kkoreans whom enjoy manga just as we do, but they also have manhwa, which is kind of like manga, yet Korean.
Good Luck!
