Now, for all you nitwits out there who don't know, The Pervy Sage has been inactive for a little while. Via MSN, he gave me permission to continue the Chunin Exams in his stead. Due to this, any donations you wish to make as prizes will be greatly appreciated. This can be done via VM or PM to me. Now, on with the next part of the Exams.

Significance of the Forest of Death

The Forty-Fourth Training Ground (第44演習場, Daiyonjūyon Enshūjō), also known as the Forest of Death (死の森, Shi no Mori), was the stage for the second part of the Konoha Chūnin Exams, proctored by Anko Mitarashi. Its primary function served as a testing ground for the survival and fighting skills of genin trying to become a chūnin. It was a very dangerous place, filled with hordes of flora and fauna; often gigantic, poisonous — or even more likely, both — hence its name. A metallic fence surrounds its perimeter with 44 gates equally spaced around it; this perimeter is where the shinobi entered. Inside is a river, the forest, and a tower located in the exact centre; the forest's radius is about ten kilometres. It lies on the north of the Forty-Third Training Ground (第43演習場, Daiyonjūsan Enshūjō).

Significance in the Chunin Exams

Much like in Naruto, we will have our own Forest of Death in the second stage of the Chunin Exams. It will take place in the form of a grid using hexagonal shapes. Each team will start from an entrance gate determined by the number they chose in the previous round. (See Part One.) Using the chart below and the number you chose, you may move foward, left, right, backward, or diagonally 5 spaces. You will post your moves by space in this thread.

Each team will be marked by a color chosen by me. Please make your move and confirm you are taking part in this thread. Only one representative from each team is required. Should two teams cross, they may pursue, retreat, or battle each other. There are also numerous unmarked traps in the forest, so be ware! For the sake of things, I will also take part. The River can be crossed. You will not be allowed to use the following jutsu in this round:

If you are taking part, please subscribe to the thread for updates. You have 3 days to reply for each round. Collaboration between teams is allowed. After the three days are up, each team will receive a map. On this map will be the progress of all the teams without revealing whether or not those teams hit a trap, however it will reveal whether or not your own team hit a trap. It will be sent to the person who posted in this thread.

Updates and Notes:

1. Each team must have at least one of their members post by 1/21/12 at 12:00 AM EST (Eastern Standard Time, -5 GMT). By failing to do so, you forfeit from the Chunin Exams.
   
2. In addition to the above, you have no excuses for being even a minute over the exact time I placed. I have sent everyone who registered for the first round a VM with a link to the thread. The reason for the time limit being so long is me being semi-active due to Mid-term exams.
   
3. Everyone passed the Written Exam from the first round.

I haven't been on my computer, and haven't started the round, so go ahead and join. I'll see if I can get the approval of Nexus or another RPG Mod to host the threads there in the Battle RPG section.
