Since this is a new contest, i would appreciate any suggestion that might help to improve the contest.

As the name implies the SOTW contest, happens every week^^
This is a monthly contest and people work hard to think and type down their scenarios. If you read the FanFic section you will see many really nice projects there. If people decide to submit, it won't be easy to select the best of them^^
xD if it depended on me i would give a medal to everyone
But if more people see this as unfair, I am sure i can do sth about it.

No and exactly for that reason, i planned this contest.
Cause not everyone has or can use photoshop, but many people here write good fictions. Shouldn't they be awarded for that?

yes but how do mods and admins know that the user didn't asked for votes?
That's unfair if you get me

Asking for votes is against the rules, if anyone ever does that and it gets reported, he will get immediately disqualified and infracted.
So you all must report it when something like this happens.

The staff will select the best fanfics before the voting begins, so that limits the danger of asking for votes^^

I agreed with you there =/ people just go and open a fanfic and see the tittle and may think is bad without even reading it.
