Why dosen't anyone tell Naruto his father was the 4th hokage

well first of all only a few ppl know that its his father. like kakashi and jiraiya. those are the only two that i know know. maybe the third and the elders know too. There is a reason for that to be kept secret. im not exactly sure of what thtat is but it has to be a good one. its also why they made his last name "uzumaki" cuz of his mother. if they made "namikaze" as his last name evry1 wouldve know he was the 4ths son which would destroy there chances of hiding it. i think they will tell naruto when he is ready.

plus they didn't want anyone to know that the 4th put The Demon Fox in his own son. They wanted it to be a secret from others as well as their enemies. Maybe people would think badly about the 4th for doing that to his son. Naruto is best not to know this whole time, because he is working on his on will. Learning his fathers techniques without him knowing, it will his father will give him that feeling that he can learn anything. If Naruto found out when he was a kid why his own father would put such a thing into his son, would confuse Naruto and through him off his path...

Well, it's cause most kage's gave the tailed beast to a family member, Ao gave it to Bee, because they are like brothers, 3rd Kazikage gave it to Gara. Harashima gave his wife the kiyubi. So if people knew Naruto was minato's son they'd try taking him. However, the Uzimake clan was also feared and many people wanted their secrets so it's a lose lose. Jyira prolly figured Minato put his chakra in the seal to one day see naruto, so Jiyra didn't tell. Third died, and Kakashi prolly didn't know how

Anyways back on topic.

Because Naruto would of had more HATRED towards the village and start in this downward spiral of hate like his friend Sasuke. Knowing that his parents sealed the fox which ostracized him from society would make him release it and go apeshit.

kids in the village had no clue naruto had the fox in him only the adults and kis around during the attack knew and the third made strict laws tht no one could say a thing to naruto.... but since the parents of kids acted strange and stared at naruto with hate that was passed on to the kids naruto went to school with.

If people knew naruto was the fourths chld he wouldve been treated like sakura in the movie road to ninja. He wouldve felt as if things were givin to him and he wouldnt have to work for it because hes a hero's son.. but he would be filled with hatred wondering why his parents would put the fox in him and leave him all alone.

we could say konohamaru would be a weak ninja aswell having been the thirds grandson but him trying to show that hes more than just that and having a strong rival such as naruto gives him an obstacle to try to overcome like how sasuke had itach, naruto has sasuke, lee has neji etc.

So the only person that could have told him was Jirayai

Remember at the start of the series it was forbidden to talk to, see, speak, or think about the jinchuuriki. Konoha didnt even tell any one that someone had the 9 tails.

kakashi knew and tsunade knows and yep the start of the series whenever someone was even remotely close to saying anything anbu popped up just remember that all the adults know too they just didnt know he was the fourth's son i believe

Because of the Ninja system.

Naruto was a victim of the poor ninja system implanted, where his mother was forced to become a Jinchurikki (which is a motive of great discrimination in villages) and his father another victim of a revenge because of unfinished business that the previous Hokages were not able to counter.

Naruto did not had this sense of what being a Ninja means, or what a Village means, so knowing his parents were who they were and that they died for their village to protect and seal a monster inside of him would just create another Sasuke.

Naruto would seek the truth behind his history and blame Konoha for that, blame the system and want Revenge in the name of his parents, and as a Jinchurikki, it would be a big risk for the village.

The best way for him to find out about it was through his parents, as he did. They were able to pass to him their love and faith on him, explaining their reasons with no regrets for what they did.

Naruto already knows from both Minato and Kushina He told the 4th Raikage He had two Suns in Him His Mother and Father. Naruto docent need to be told the rest of the village and the world are the ones and with Minato next to Naruto every living Shinobi will tell the world.
