Jane has the talent of very good observation skills and mentalism. He often "Baits" his "Prey" by saying certain things in order for them to do what he needs them to do. He is often relaxed and cool-free, however whenever the memories of his disturbing past comes in to his mind, he often loses his sense of direction on the task he was put on, which can cause devastating results.

Backround Info

Patrick Jane was born into the gifted Hyuga clan. He was part of the head family of the Hyuga clan. He decided to leave the Hyuga family due to his own personal reasons and left when he was 10.Jane lived by himself in Konoha, he spent most of his time at shops people watching and observing them and making his own predictions about the people's lives and often spoke out loud to the shop owners.

One day, while observing people out loud, some man came to him. He convinced Jane to join him since he needed Jane's unique observation skills. Jane helped the man, Culpepper on giving him details on people the man asked him to observe. Jane letter discovered that Culpepper was a killer and decided to take him down. Later that night, Jane snuck in to Culpepper's estate...dimmed the lights...saw Culpepper lying asleep on his bed...took out a kunai...stretched it over...slide it over Culpepper's throat and walked away knowing this was the right thing to do.

This act stuck on Jane's conscious so he decided to never commit the crime of murder again.

Little did he know...that some day he would need to.

Jane lived happily with a great family, a beautiful wife and a brilliant daughter. Jane used his Byakugan and his talent of observation to earn a living by faking to have psychic powers. Jane then made a mistake that he would never forget...Jane said to his viewers in the audience that he is helping the Police force track the serial killer named Red John and insulted him. When he arrived at his house, he found this letter on his bedroom door and his heart sank:

Dear mister Jane, I do not like to be slandered in front of people, especially by a dirty money-grubbing fraud. If you were a real psychic, instead of a dishonest little worm, you wouldn't need to open the door to see what I've done to your lovely wife and child.

Jane opened the door...saw that face made in blood...in the blood of his wife and child and then saw them lying on the bed...dead.
Jane was devastated and had to go to a psychological clinic...he then became...determined.

~~~~~~~ years later ~~~~~~~~~~

Jane returned to the Hyuga clan and met with Lili-Chwan and was determined to undergo her rough training in Gentle Fist and lost a lot of bodily fluids (Just sweat) but soon mastered Gentle Fist. Having mastered his clan's techniques, he now needed to learn his elemental techniques from other teachers that would teach him and wandered the streets looking for a teacher. He walked in to someone know as "Black Rose", Akiza sensei...the ultimate Sharingan teacher...known by all. She then taught him the basics of the Fire element. Greatefuly, Jane left to find another teacher after he had grown well enough. Finally through rough boot camp training, Jane felt ready enough to master the elements and started the search for more teachers and finally ran in to Vergil... who began to teach him the element of Earth, however during the training, somewhere, Vergil... disapeared. Dissapointed, Jane needed to find another teacher and then ran in to Gobi Gobletsson who decided to help Jane complete his Earth training. Near the end of his training, Gobi handed Jane to his faithful sempai who hails the name of Dr.House who helped Jane finally complete and master the element of Earth. While living his tainted life of revenge, Jane had the support of his #1 Rival: -Cobalt-, together they grew stronger and more fearsome. Having fallen defeat to his eternal rival, Jane decided he needs to master another element. He then looked for a teacher and found Faith, who continued Jane's Fire training. However, outside of training, Faith had his own problems and need to end the training with Jane. Jane desperately in need of finishing the element, turned to his Hokage,Izuna Uchiha who kindly handed him to his sempai Wesobi who completed Jane's fire training.Still determined with his goal on his mind

Jane set off to learn more of the elements and met Thor, who trained Jane in Water. Sadly, Jane's new sempai was doing illegal actions and was assassinated by the higher ups. Jane then continued and walked in to a new teacher, Dei Dei who taught him the Lightning element. Although not mastered, Jane was satisfied with his training. Jane then met the designer, Nocturnal who taught Jane the basics of the Wind element. With his elemental training at a decent level, Jane set off on to complete his goal...Kill the murderer of his family...Red John

Having being Jane's first mastered element, Jane relied on his fire jutsu heavily and used it in every battle possible and mastered. Owing to his extensive use of this element, Jane is capable of performing Jutsu handseals with one less handseal and also at a faster speed then normal.

_Gentle Fist/Byakugan_

Together with his great observational prowess, Jane can see entire battle fields with his Byakugan. And together with his observational skills, he uses them together with his Gentle Fist with precision control, allowing him to strike precisely where he needs to and causing more damage to the opponent.
