I'm pretty sure all of the bodies that are being controlled by Nagato were dead before he got to them.

Nagato and Yahiko just wanted peace. They just had different methods of creating peace in the world. It's not that Nagato was following Yahiko, they just had the same ideals...

What I believe is that Yahiko was killed off maybe in front of Nagato... Nagato was unable to or even helpless to save Yahiko... which caused him to go overboard and create this Pein Character… to seek out Peace… or the concept of peace from Nagato point of view, which is extremely F’ed up… but maybe being traumatized by the death of Yahiko pushed him over the edge...

I am with you on the fact that Yahiko has a lot to do with the way Nagato ended up.

I cannot wait to see the real story. I believe Naruto will change Nagato in the future somehow. I don't think Nagato is Evil, just extremely confused. At least that is what I would like to see.
