Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
If they did, why did Nagato have to absorb Bee's chakra in order to gain full power? Shouldn't he have started out with it?

he didn't absorb Bee's chakra to get to full power, he absorbed his chakra because he had a v2 version bull/octopus charging right at him.

I don't think he gained full power from it. I think he partially healed his body using Killer Bee's absorbed chakra.

but you saw before and after right? he wasnt as strong as he was before that, and he went on the major offensive, as well as a change of hair color? is that just a coincidence?

Because you will be revived as you were shortly before your death.
And Edo Tenseis haven't infinite chakra - Muu had to regenerate chakra to summon Madara and also didn't have the chakra to regenerate himself instantly after Narutos attack. Also the Nidaime Mizukage was exhausted after his Joki boy.

Re: Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
He absorbed it, right and he extinguished the exhausting, the Gedorinnetensei caused at him,(that was the reason because he died and Edo creates a duplicat thats similar to the original shortly before death.) Even if ther eare unlogical aspects iN Edo Tensei

It hasn't been fully explained yet, but the Edo's are revived in the state they died, minus their physical shortcomings.
Like Sasori had his whole body, instead of just that weird little thingy that had his heart in it.
I'm willing to bet that you have the complete body parts of the live sacrifice that was used to summon you.
Nagato was an exception, he was lacking chakra, not body parts. That's the reason he had white hair and why he was so skinny.
Plus, Kabuto himself, stated that he had mastered the technique enough to enhance the summon at his will.
So discussing the state they are revived in is moot.
The infinite chakra idea was disproven when the 2nd Mizukage was wrecked by summoning Jouki Boy. Muu currently can't use his Jinton because he doesn't have the chakra to pull it off either. Due to splitting, that is. But he still lacks the chakra.
ふー (fuu) was used as a SFX for the Mizukage, which means that the one making the noise is panting/tired.
The edo's don't have infinite chakra capacities, it just so happens that most of those zombies have crazy chakra capacities to begin with.

Re: Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
The edos DO have infinite chakra, the limit to the availability of this chakra is possibly the edos body itself. This is just speculation, but there was a finite amount of chakra each ninja possessed before dying. I believe that while the edos do indeed possess infinite chakra, they aren't able to access it all at once.
Think a battery. It has a certain capacity of energy it can hold, and can be replenished by charging it through solar powered panels, and other forms of mechanical energy converted to electrical energy.
So, the battery is the body of the edo, the energy the battery already has is the edos chakra, and the outlet or sun(depending on the type of battery) is the source of energy, which I believe the source of the infinite chakra is either the spirit world or the chakra around them, kinda like when Goku draws upon the energy of things around him to create a Spirit Bomb.
Just my thoughts is all.

Re: Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
agreed because although they unlimited reserves of chakra they can't access all of that at once or madara would use like "meteor sized fire balls" (quote from another user), you have to use the techniques you had in your real life the same way but you just won't run out nice job

Nagato didn't start with it because he was revived in the state he was in upon death.
Nagato absorbing Bee's chakra seemed to expand his limitless chakra pool. Limitless because we're told Edo Tensei provides that.
It makes sense because a living Itachi (healthy or not) can only manage 4/5 MS jutsu whereas against Kabuto, Edo Itachi managed 7 MS uses.
Then there's Madara's statement.

Re: Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
They do have infinite chakra. They have it in the sense that it recovers quickly and will recover at an unlimited pace.
They just need to stall their opponent. Because they clearly can not store more than what their max chakra was to begin with. But they can constantly revive their chakra.

Re: Edo zombies do not have infinite chakra
So the Mizukage's weakened body and Muu's inability to use Jinton upon splitting are actually side effects of their jutsu (splitting and Joki Boi) as opposed to signs of chakra depletion.
