Did anyone notice anything strange about this page in the chapter? Try and look and then open the spoiler tag to here my opinion:

Yes, Sasuke referred to Tobi as 'Tobi', but wait, I thought he acknowledged Tobi as Madara? Either this is a mistake, or it means Sasuke can read peoples' minds using his EMS, because Zetsu called the masked man 'Tobi'.

oh right, my point was that Zetsu aways called the masked man Tobi instead of Madara. So if Sasuke read Zetsu's mind, he would know the Masked man as Tobi not Madara

I think that would be a pretty useless technique...for an ems upgrade.

i mean... Give him something new not... what INO's blood line or mind reading family genetic line can do....

Yeah I also thought it was strange he called him Tobi instead of Madara. But looking at that page again I think its weird the flames are shaped like tomoes. More foreshadowing of the fated sons of sage of the six paths rivalry.

I think Sasuke just used genjutsu on him. Look at the ppanel where it says Sharigan!!! activate haxx and then the Zetsu starts talking.

It's possible he knew Tobi wasn't Madara all along and was just pretending to believe Tobi.

The reason why Sasuke called him Tobi is simple, Kishi is trying to stay consistent now with what the characters call him. Now that Kishi's shown the real Madara in edo, he's making sure not a single character calls Tobi Madara anymore. They either call him the masked man, or Tobi. Notice how when Kakashi joined the Tobi fight, he referred to him as Tobi, not Madara. This was after Edo Madara had been revealed and Kakashi had never called him Tobi before, only Madara.

Kishi is simply doing it for the sake of the audience. For now, we are supposed to believe that Tobi is not Madara, or at least not 100% Madara, so he has to keep the 2 characters separate. It has nothing to do with mind reading or anything crazy like that...... Kishi is just trying to keep us all sane by separating the two characters right now. Get it people?

Could it be that Sasuke knew Tobi wasn't Madara and he was using Tobi to get more power?
