Was he talking about Tobi or Naruto? Tobi was his first target. He told Itachi he is going to kill him after he's done with Itachi. So maybe Sasuke is planning on killing Tobi first and then dealing with Naruto? He's that kind of arrogant to think he can take both of them.

He was definitely talking about killing Naruto, not Tobi. While Sasuke said he would kill the third Uchiha survivor, things changed when he learned the truth. For now, Tobi seems to be at the bottom of his hit-list. He obviously feels Tobi can still be of use to him later. I like it how Tobi, Sasuke and Kabuto are all in it to use one another, and they all think they are gonna come out on top.

i thought kishi made him say that to show the difference between itachis ideal of true power and sasukes.And by itachis i mean the moment when naruto said that he will shoulder all the war on his own and itachi hold the speach about how when you become powerfull you must not forget your friends or else you end up like madara

exactly, itachi said don't forget your friends, Sasuke has done just that and has ended up like Madara. His ideals are the opposite of Konoha's, (and hence Itachi's as told to Naruto).

Sasuke believes strength comes from hatred ( fight at the VotE, Oro's hideout). That's what is it about. Picture as it has always been ring and yang. Am I the only one that thinks Sasuke might end up betraying Tobi... I mean, he did kill multiple Zetsu, and the original among them... Also, the very phrase that is used as this thread's title, might mean something like vegeta's rivality with goku... I can really see Sasuke ending in a Vegeta plot way...
