And why didn't he use it against kenpachi? or did he not have it then?

Spoilers: I dont think Gin let himself be a experiment for Aizen seeing as he hated him, and hollowfication does make a shinigami much stronger, therefore he must have been.

Gin is by far stronger his bankai's ability was fearsome. Especially the part he never talked about being the nano's.

Tousen with the Mask is leagues stronger than Gin.
Gin is much stronger naturally though. Without Tousen's Mask he wouldn't match Gin.

Tousen didn't have the mask against Kenpachi. Even if he did it's obvious he wouldn't have used it because of the plot. Arrancar/Vizards weren't introduced back then. He wouldn't have used it period.



Tousen was nothing to Aizen. He was a lab rat which is probably why he gave him Hollow powers. Tousen was blinded by his so-called "justice" and followed Aizen like a puppy. Aizen had no reason to ever trust Tousen who isn't at the mercy of his Kyoka Suigetsu.

The only one Aizen even remotely trusted/favored was Gin. Even when he suspected Gin had his own agenda he still led him around

I've got to disagree with you. With the mask, I believe Tousen would overpower Gin. Tousen was able to overpower Komamura's Bankai. Someone who is known for his brute strength. Gin is more of an agile and speedy fighter, but it's also a fact that along with Hollowification comes a boost in nearly all other attributes (strength, speed, agility, etc) which stands to reason it's plausible that Tousen would be able to keep up with Gin's speed (if not outspeed him even)

I'm not too sure. Brute force isn't the only thing that makes someone a good fighter. Even though Tousen's hollowifcation did increase his destructive capability, it lessened his awareness which led to him being killed by Hisagi. That aspect of him kept him from being as strong as someone like Gin.

As for Tousen just using the mask rather than the ressurrecion, lets not forget Gin was able to toy with Ichigo even with Ichigo using his mask; I don't think Tousen with his mask was as strong at that point.

And lets be honest, had it been Gin against Komamura it would have been over in seconds. There's no way Komamura's bankai would be capable of dodging Gin's attacks due to its size, and we know that with one attack Gin could leave a speck of dust in Komamura's bankai and it would have been over.

Tosen using the mask could probably give gin a run for his money. With out it, he would be hard pressed, unless you caught Gin in his Bankai.

Of course, that's assuming that Gin got caught or Tosen would be able to dodge Gin's bankai (though I think that is entirely probable. Tosen could dodge most things with out his mask.)

Why are people saying Gin is better when we have no evidence? Tousen is obviously better from what we've seen. ****ty Bankai Ichigo doesn't compare to Tousen so don't use that argument.
