Ok why does it seem like they are scicing the strength of the shodai hokage when him and his brother (the second) fought the third and basically were beaten by this 80+ man. Eventhough they were being controlled by Orochimaru, orochimaru has probably done research on every naruto character out there (most likely even sarutobi sensei's child jk), especially Hashirama so he would have known what his powers were so why were they not used??

Orochimaru didn't perfect the Edo Tensei like Kabuto has. That might be why.

The fact is that madara has stopped using the rinnegan..... to me, when he was using it to rip apart the battle field, it was just as powerful as the first hokages powers..... he killed more than half of the peopl there with the meteor and could have killed more if oonoki didnt lighten the rock.... Hashiramas powers are also awesome but are so far on par with madara's rinnegan powers.... I am predicting that sasuke and itachi will battle kabuto and madara will b summoned to battle them..... it will b the baddest uchiha battle ever!!!

I wonder if anybody on here still believes that, Tobi identity is Izuna,Obito, or Uchiha Kagami? I got a lot of flack last year from some idiots. When I stated that Tobi is a two man cell that consist of, 1/2 White Zestu, and 1/2 Black Zetsu. I explained my theory behind it and I pointed out proof when konan fought and broke the left side of Tobi's mask in the manga. I thought it clearly showed the left 1/2 of his face matching the other 1/2 of Black Zestu's face. To the individuals who said it was shadowing from the angle and whatever else. I want you noobs to look at the previews of Naruto Shippudden episode 253. Shade and Shadowing my Ass. Now thats Logic!!!

the barrier probably constricted them of using their biggest, and powerful moves.

I don't think anyone believes Tobi is Obito or even Kagami at this point. Considering just how mean Madara turned out to be I would say he might've done some awful stuff to his brother to make him into Tobi.
Like, "Hey brother I fought Hashirama again and got his powers thanks to these eyes. Now we'll give you a new vessel with this mokuton. You'll be able to swap out body parts and live forfever. Bide your time and when the time is right....bring me back with this rinnegan"
That's speculation tho' I still really need to know why time was so important to Madara's plan. Maybe Madara only realized his potential when he awakened his rinnegan. He could be the sage! But that requires tailed beasts and that takes time..? I could''t see Sasuke wanting to be the sage. Madara just thinks on a grand scale

To be honest I want to go back to naruto's battle but knowing how strong hashirama senju is better more reason that Naruto better get something soon because jutsu for jutsu he stands no chance because in my opinion he has just cancelled the control on the Edo jins by releasing there would found there body and now tobi is left with the same thing Edo madara has + the gedo statue for a summoning beast so Naruto better be getting some different power than rasengan .

and I think madara will have his hands full with the "will of fire" - we have seen that all the hidden villages have a similar philosophy and I do think madara fears this he had to have encountered that will while fighting the first and was surprised when tsunade mentioned it - If itachi caps kabuto then yes the will of Fire in the end will have taken madara out - so it should not be taken lightly.

If it were that simple Kabuto would have done it 10 chapters ago..

If he releases Edo Tensei that means all shinobi resurrected by him will desist and the kage's will be able to come up with a new strategy.

Still wondering what Itachi's plan is with Kabuto. As someone pointed out and linked the picture from Oro/3rd fight, edo tensei doesn't end when user is killed. Best guess is genjutsu to trick Kabuto into releasing it.
