[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 577 Discussion and 578 Predictions

there were some exciting moments but all in all it was just too predictable.

though i wonder wether itachi addressed sasuke or kabuto with his last line...
most likely he knows kabuto wants to get his hands on sasuke (just like oro tried with both uchiha bros) and now he is worried about stopping the edo tensei and simultaniously protecting his reckless little brother

Hi everyone, my opinion on the chapter:

Sasuke showing up as a shadow while Itachi talks in the last frame hints that Sasuke may play in favor of Kabuto, which basically is Oro. The point is, there's a new plot building up around Oro which includes:

-Capture of Anko for Kabuto's use (remember he left trails for her)
-Anko showing up in the last page of the chapter, lying besides kabuto.
-Suigetsu finding something of value in oro's cave.
-Sasuke showing up behind Itachi as a shadow.
-Sasuke and Itachi being both related to Oro in the past (Sasuke: new container, Itachi: sealed him), both in the same context.

Could the edo somehow control Sasuke, by technique or by some emotional weakness of him? Perhaps Kabuto will reactivate or re-curse Sasuke.

Also, if you notice you can see how far reaching has been Oro's pwer through shippuden, seeing that madaras edo has been experimented on, I think we're going to see some oro soon.


Anyways, I think Anko is key here.

FALSE that was a mokuton root!

in the panel where she's getting stabbed it looks a lot like a root... but on page 12 it looks all like a sword and i'm pretty sure it really is one

actually i allways thought/felt oro would somehow take over kabuto since he infused himself with oro's dna... or maybe he kinda has already? :shrug:
can't think of any other way for him to return (besides flashbacks and revealations about some research) ...

as for anko... back when tobi asked kabuto about the details of IWR, the reason for taking anko was getting oro's chakra. maybe, if that was true, he has the same reason for wanting sasuke so badly:confused:

How the heck does Dan know so much? He was pretty much a regular ninja so how could he know so much about two such legendary figures and the kages.
Was Hashirama's power still known during his time? If so how can his power become a fairy tale in two generations.

if it weren't for the wood relase tsunade would have finsihed him there ad then that isn't his own power naruto and gaara woulda finsihed him off if it weren't for rinnegan. not haten or anything but still. anyway great chapter 5/5

it was a pretty straight chapter. 5/5. but i doubt the itachi/sasuke vs. kabuto fight will happen. there is no point if the jutsu will just continue after the users death

I think Tsunade will definitely survive, Madara has to see that she can heal herself without handsigns. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't...

Maybe Kabuto's warning that the jutsu won't be released if he's killed is supposed to be a hint- Sasuke might kill Kabuto and virtually set loose a bunch of edo's (Madara, Kimimaro, Dan, etc.). Or, Itachi may have to intervene- strictly in the interest of the leaf village- and attempt to keep Sasuke from killing Kabuto. Itachi also has to find some way to stop Kabuto now, no doubt he had been planning to hit Kabuto with the totsuka sword; Itachi isn't in the best position here...

Whoa. what an awesome chapter. i was litrealy on the edge of my seat when tsunade got stab. (I hope she doesn't die) and then when itachi and Kabuto where having their little battle of wits when who appears...!!! holy shit I'm so excited what an awesome chapter can't wait for the next one.

First Hokage cannot be summoned. If you go back several chapters, when Kabuto was explaining the Edo Tensei jutsu to Madara...he said that anyone under another seal cannot be summoned: the first through the fourth Hokage cannot be summoned under any circumstances. The third sealed the first and the second in the Crush the Leaf; the fourth was sealed during the attack on Konoha by Kurama, the Kyuubi. Wishful thinking.

However, if Kishi changes his mind on this one it will be the biggest screw up in a plot I've ever seen.

Oh, how I wish Tsunade survives. I was so bummed when I saw her get impaled by the Mokuton. At the same time, it looks like Itachi AND Sasuke may be fighting together for the first - and last time. Maybe Sasuke will earn a bit of redemption, which would be great.

Madara is so arrogant he doesn't care. Though I would be cheering if Tsunade comes back with a surprise attack. Unfortunately, I think Dan's jutsu, which is supposed to be horrible and powerful, is going to get summoned. That damn power of the white snake is going to make sure that Kabuto doesn't die.

Kabuto's personality is that of a co-dependent. He's never had a stable life and needed a strong individual to lead him. He's never had a purpose. Even when working for Sasori, he found himself not necessarily following his goals but became enamoured with the charismatic Orochimaru (not sexually; just drawn to him). When Oro "died," you could see that Kabuto was struggling to find an identity. When he confronted Naruto during Team of 8 mission, he even said as much and how he envied Naruto at his strength of identity despite Kurama being sealed inside. That's when the truth came out - again, he leeched off of the strength and power of his mentor to make himself "better." His strength is that of Orochimaru, who was in a league of his own, and that of Kabuto - strong but not powerful - combined. The fact that he is in combination of Oro is definitely following his personality as a dependent leech who doesn't know who he is.
