Is yammy really the strongest Espada? Or is he just some douche bag who changes his number.

Unlike most Espada his power isn't set. He has the ability to eat and convert and store excess power over time it gains more and more until he is actually pretty damn strong. Honestly I don't think he is comparable to the number 0 as I think even Ulquirra was stronger than him and was only Number 4. But that's just my opinion.

I doubt, but he needed 2 of the strongest captains to defeat him, we just couldn't see his battle against them.

Brute strength-wise, he was probably the strongest. But overall power, not even close to deserving the rank of 0.
To be honest, I think Kubo only came up with this 0-9 Espada ranking as a random fan service. In reality Yammy was the weakest of the Espada. The only reason Kubo made him the 0th Espada was to give Byakuya and Kenpachi something to do. Nothing moreLast edited by NLee; 03-12-2012 at 06:10 PM.
