Well we can't be sure how srong Pain really is. Right now he's planning to do something of great power, he had to move closer to Nagato just to execute this technique. So I can't say for sure who would win, Pein or naruto. But then again, this manga is named after Naruto, therefore he cannot die! xD

If we follow the order of what happen recently, I can't see naruto winning here...In fact I'm pretty sure Pein will get EXACTLY what he want (capturing naruto). This won't end up in a tie! It will be one or the other.

well, this is true that kishi is being unpredictable.
May be pain will capture Naruto but don't forget that Naruto is in six tails form.

There are 50-50 chances of both. It depends on kishi that how would he like to make up story...
Pain capturing Naruto will be more interesting though. He will take Naruto to the hideout to extract bijuu , Sasuke will also come to knw about it and then we will see his true feelings for Naruto..
But on the other hand this way story will end soon enough cuz in order to protect Naruto from dying all the Akatsuki have to eventually die.

I dont think Kishi will take the road of capturing Naruto because it was said that the 9tails must come last or the statue would be inbalanced an crumble
