Questions: I'm new...

Hey guys! So I am just getting into bleach but i've made some headway! I'm currently on episode 159 where:

Ichigo, Renji, Rukia, Chad, and Ishida have all invaded the arancar's castle or whatever to try and save Orihime.

But I have a question not concerning the current arc, I just let you know where I'm at so you would know not to give me any info i will find out later!

So here it is:
-Are Gin and/or Tosen under Aizen's illusion, or are they just corrupt?
-oh and also, is it true the anime is being discontinued? (If so is it the English dubb or subb or both??) I had been reading another thread on the base and that's what someone said, but they were new and I didn't know how reliable they were lol. I haven't taken the time to google it or anything yet, but I will if no one here knows for sure!

I know most of you are doing this -> right now but I was under the impression that they were under his illusion but a friend told me no so I thought I'd ask the experts! Either way I can't stand either of them! lol

If it's ok, I'll post back to this thread whenever I want to ask other stupid questions for you guys. I'm totally addicted to this show now dang it...

Well I didn't think it was a spoiler I though Aizen had explained the technique to the 4th captain and what it meant for Gin and Tosen and I just didn't understand... But If I'm not supposed to know for sure at the point i'm at I don't want to know! lol

no they're not under illusions. they both have their reasons for following him.

yeah. after 1 more episode it'll stop airing. I don't know where they are in the dubbed version but episode 366 will be the last.

I heard in a place that they are taking a year brake. (rumor)

reason for the brake:
manga is only 5-10 chapters ahead. if they were to continue they would catch up to manga and story would have to be cut in half.
normally the answer to that is fillers. however bleach already has a buttload of fillers and they suck.

so it seems instead of making a filler arc for a whole year they decided to wait until manga makes some progress. and then they'll keep the anime going

Oh man I hope the rumors are true, I would hate to get into this and then they stop!! But it wouldn't be a total loss, I would still have the manga!

They aren't under his illusion. They serve willingly, but here's the catch -- Some have different motives and you'll see what I mean when you get there.

What people said above it true. Gin and Tousen are not under illusions, and yes, the Bleach anime will be ending after the Lost Agent Arc

The anime is ending though.
