that's because minato killed himself to get rid of the kuubi :D :D

Minato loved his village very much. So he sacrificed his life by sealing Kyuubi to save village(As fas as manga tells us ony this).. So it is quite obvious that he will never want to see Kyubi again in form..Though he was prepared to again suppress kyubi when 8th tail appeared. He never wanted to do this.....

I don't think Kushina will appear. Minato may talk about her but we really don't know if she's even dead or not.

theres a thread somewhere with some peoples ideas on what happend that day of the attack and they just saying but anyways in the manga there isnt any proof of her death or even if shes alive all we have know is that she gave birth to naruto that day and may even of died in childbirth ?
