The Eight Trigrams Sealing Style, consisting of two Four Symbols Seals, was used by Minato to help Naruto Uzumaki access the chakra of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him. This seal weakens over time. To strengthen the seal again when it gets too weak, Minato drew a key on the abdomen of the scroll toad Gerotora.






As the demon fox fought Pain through the six-tailed transformation, Naruto within his consciousness thought of Pain's plans for peace and pleaded for someone to help him with a response. Through his suffering, the demon fox convinced him to destroy everything in the world that hurt him and to break the seal by saying that if Naruto gave his heart to it, then it would stop his pain. His influence caused the seal to "distort" and allowed the eighth tail to grow.

The eight-tailed transformation brings Naruto's body, as per the previous forms, closer to that of the demon fox. This form is his largest so far, and muscle tissue begins to grow on the bones from the six-tailed transformation. In this form Naruto is about the same size as the demon fox, with the only thing missing being the ninth tail, skin, and fur.

The seal is arranged so that when the eighth tail forms the spirit of Minato appears within Naruto's conscious

well delvin has got a point we already new this from the manga mate and the 8 triagram sealing tech is just the tech used that sealed the fox in naruto in the first place.. minato appearing near the break of the seal is simply his doing dunnah how on earth he managed it but he didnt do it because of the effect of the sealing jutsu thats for sure
