I suppose we can assume that by the end of the next chapter, Kabuto will either be under Tsukuyomi or have ended the jutsu. I'm sure Izanami has a time limit like Izanagi, so there's always a chance that Kabuto holds out until then. In fact, to be honest, I think he's gonna end up under Sasuke's genjutsu, and then the chapter afterwards will be about Sasuke being torn between talking to Itachi and ending the jutsu, cause he won't be able to talk to him if he ends it. Just a thought.

I honestly don't think Tsukuyomi has anything to do with what's going to happen to Kabuto.

I honestly don't think Tsukuyomi has anything to do with what's going to happen to Kabuto.

From what I can tell, Izanami only decides fate, meaning it's not a form of mind control. It changes the course of Kabuto's fate to an certain end, which would likely be him undoing the jutsu. So, it's not just he activates Izanami and he undoes the jutsu. He's likely seen to it that he's eventually gonna be put under Tsukuyomi.

I think itachi being such a carefull and genius shinobi,this new izanami must be a powerfull genjutsu and him telling sasuke to stay behind him,it is probably a force to be reckoned with.Also to prevent killing kabuto it possably can trap him or might be similar to the izangi in where it toys with your 5 senses. Itachi also hinted that it would cause loss of light in the eyes. It seems itachi is trying to spare sasuke from any harm despite kabuto's advances on sasuke to try to get him to join him.

We still don't know what the izanami can do but if it is even close to izangi,it might be able to undue edo tensi or at least make kabuto think it's null&void.

I've been thinking about something that in order to have rinnegan and have the power of the Six paths you must have both Uchiha and Senju DNA so i will conceed that Nagato must have had either a parent that was both Uchiha and one that was Senju or his eyes were Transplanted more than likely the latter but i would not rule anything out. Now that having been said does it not stand to reason that in order for Sasuke to unlock Rinnegan he would have to take in some part of Senju DNA The same way Madara Uchiha did. which I only think because of what Tobi (not the most reliable of sources) states here

I find it so funny how mangakas are able to lay information down, right in front of our faces, and make it seem unimportant. I've been rereading the Naruto manga, from the start, and just today I got to where the Hidden Leaf deploys Kakashi, Naruto, and others, as an eight-man cell, to go after Itachi and Naruto's unit runs into Kabuto. With everything that's being revealed about Kabuto in the manga right now, it's the perfect time to reread those chapters. He talks about being a spy, finding who he was with Orochimaru, then losing his sense of his own identity upon Orochimaru's downfall. He talks about never trying to surpass Orochimaru, which we now know he's worked hard to do. It just tickles me pink, so to speak, to know that Kishi has had this stuff planned, if only two cents of the full dollar, for years.

Its funny too me in myth Izanagi cudnt change Izanami fate so in turn she kills 1000 a day VS izanagi 1500 birth a day... so now izanagi can change the user fate but not others and izanami changes fate of others@the cost of eye sight but since itachi is edo he can spam izanami til the job is done...

Wonder if Kishi's going back to Naruto vs. Tobi next week, cos anytime a fight starts, we don't see it for weeks .

when tobi was referring to power of the sage he wasn't saying that the rennigan is formed by having both senju & uchiha powers. But having both senju & uchiha power is having the power of rikoudu sage. What u are forgetting is that the sage split his power into two ways sage body & sage eye so the only ppl that could have the power awaken the rennigan are those that are descendants of rikoudu's older son - uchihas
