Looks: Gildarts is a tall and muscular man with shoulder-length reddish orange hair, which is kept slicked back, and some stubble around his mouth and on his chin. His heavily muscular body suffered many injuries due to his confrontation with natsu when the akatsuki invaded suna. Gildarts’ attire is simple and practical, consisting of a dark, tattered cape over his bare chest, with a high collar and armoured plates on the shoulders, held closed by a belt and usually covering his whole figure, and loose dark pants, complete with an armoured waist-guard with plates similar to the ones on his shoulders, tucked inside simple boots.

Personality: Gildarts is an easy-going and laid-back person. He's also warm-hearted and kind, and has great interest and faith in the new generation of shinobi. He is well respected by all members of suna. He also appears to be a bit absent-minded and oblivious, and apparently doesn't pay attention to what he's doing. He also has a tendency to break through walls with his blast release in order to pass, rather than simply using the door. When he enters a fight, he often points out that he is bad at and dislikes holding back, and Happy made it clear that Gildarts is well known for obliterating his opponents. When fighting, Gildarts would often employ exclusively hand-to-hand combat while using blast release to destroy things other than humans, such as the ground. Should he be pushed to the limit, or choose not to hold back, he goes all out and could leave a terrain looking like hell.

Glidarts clive is an extremely proficient at explosion release. he trained himself every day fro 7 moths to make his blast release to the point where he became renown for it. though, he doesn't abuse his power. he attacks the surroundings not the opponent unless pushed to the absolute limit. he has mastered land-mine fist to the extent in which he can break an opponents bones if they come in contact with.

natsu taught glidarts earth which helped him master explosion release. natsu helped glidarts mastered doton to the point where he only needs one-hand-seal to preform doton type technqiues


Raiton
an extremely powerful woman named "leaf" taught glidarts mastery over lightning and helped him understand it. since she was an lightning specialist herself he understand the lightning to its fullest, able to recognize any and all lightning techniques that leaf has taught him. he also has increased reflexes

Background Info.
History:
Gildarts was born in iwagakure , may 22nd, born int the explosive corps organization. His father passed down his knowledge of blast of release to his son. Gildarts practiced for days and hours, trying to perfect blast release. Though it wouldn't work for someone unknown reason. He then went on an adventure to try find the reason why blast wouldn't work for him. He left iwagakure and then traveled throughout the ninja world...looking for an answer. He came across a woman named "leaf" who agreed to teach glidarts and show him the way of lightning release. After his training was done his blast release began to work a little bit better, but something was still missing. He went searching and found natsu who agreed to teach him earth. Glidarts mastered earth the next day and then became extremely proficient with it. He then molded both earth and lightning together and his blast release became extremely powerful and then, for several months, he trained and made his blast super powerful.

Once he mastered the three elements..he realized he had no idea where he was. so he went foward and came into amegakure in which he was confronted by hanzou of the salamander. just about as hanzou was going to kill him...glidarts landmine fist-ed him (don't think dirty xD) hanzou took barely any damage but saw potential and decided to train him.

when hazou died, glidarts left for an unknown reason. he went to suna for cake. he stayed there for quite some time and never left know matter how bad things turned out. a man named nexus, the king of the world wanted to be entertained and so he made the villages have tournaments. he watched them using the for seeing ball at mount myobkuzan with the pervy sage. days later natsu invaded and attacked suna. it was natsu, the mn who had trained him. and daemon. they both wanted cake and got same after an battle. the cake was so good that they decided to betray akatsuki for more cake.
