      Re: Help on line art

I've never used gimp before, but i'm guessing you did that free-hand (with a pencil tool... pencil lines would give such results).

If the line-art is the same size as the image in your sig, then it must mean that you zoomed (scaled the image) in somehow to get it at that size. That would definitely result in a poor quality.

      Re: Help on line art

Well, I mostly do mine, with the "paths tool" and once Im done with the areas that i want to do, I click on "Stroke Path", and when the window appears make the line 1px

(These are my brushes settings: hard brush (11), mode:normal, opacity:100, and nothing more on the rest)

This is one that I'm working on at the moment still not finished though...

      hope this helped you...

I don't know about gimp, but I'd suggest you use Illustrator because it allows you to change the strokes with 1-2 clicks

      Teach me Miss Litchi

If you want it to be stronger, you could 'duplicate' your lineart layer.

And like dakrazyebi said; Use the path tool to make your lineart, 'coz then you can make the curves more smoother
