Did Kishimoto just nerf Sasuke and Madara for the plot?

I am tired of Kishi's inconsistent writing...

First of all the war arc sucked, a he rushed it horribly by killing all the akatsuki members too soon, and it needed Madara's badassness to be saved:

and Madara whips out the greatest fire moves totally on a whole new level... :rag:

Madara awakens his badass legendary sharingan :rag:

Madara awakens his infamous EMS :rag:

When Madara surpassed Shodai and awakened the rinnegan, I was like wtf, just badass,

infact he is soo badass that he changed the definition of badassery!

Madara going Super-Saiyan 4 :rag:

Madara literally in "God mode" and summoning meteors out of nowhere! :whoa:

Madara making Kurama piss his furry pants (to the point he even teams up with Naruto)

My point is just when everything was getting good, then Kishi does this :sy:

He makes Madara, give Shodai (whom he just surpassed right now) too much praise and make him look like his fanboy :sy: in fact he gets soo repetitive and boring, the more he mentions his name :flaw:

and look at Sasuke, he started out as pure badass:

Sasuke is not showing his sharpness as a genius ninja here (look at him just standing there staring at Kabuto's jutsu :sy, so that Itachi can play his act of his "older brother" for plot or nostalgic purposes:

and he was saved by his big-brother Itachi, just to have his share of spotlight

and he is it again, just for Itachi to play his "over-protective" older brother act,

EMS Sasuke is more than capable of activating his own Susanoo here, I am not pleased by Kishis inconsistent writing here:

The only thing I liked here is that Sasuke did in fact return the favor by using amaterasu (why is he bleeding though, isn't EMS supposed to eliminate this problem) saving Itachi back:

Nevertheless, I think both EMS Sasuke and Rinnegan + EMS Madara has been nerfed just for plot purposes, as I think Madara can easily kill all the Kages (he even admitted that he is just toying with the Kages), and Sasuke can pwn Kabuto easily (only he didn't have to listen to Itachi's advice to keep of not killing Kabuto :sy with his Eternal Mangekyou :rag:

Madara the first 2 chapters was owning everything, used flame Jutsu which had to be countered by tons of water Jutsus, kicked a group of people took a sword sliced through another bunch of people, roundhouse kick the hell out of people, Genjutsu, what more badassery can you get? Now it's Susano'o and Wood.

So first Kabuto said "You gained a portion of Hashirama's strength"

Then Madara looks into his shirt and look at his reaction, "Oh.. That's why... You've certainly prepared well". It's obvious he was looking at the Hashirama face, now I don't understand, did Madara gained the power himself or did Orochimaru implanted the power (the same thing Danzo had on his shoulder by Orochimaru)...? In that case, was it really necessary for Kabuto to say Madara gained a portion of Hashirama's power? It made it much more mindf*cking?

I agree that there are parts of the War that are going too slowly, but there is a lot of back story to cover for all of the characters involved. Kishi has introduced tons of new characters during the war and he is adding abilities and motives for the familiar characters, too. This takes time, but he could have spaced it out a little bit so all of the back stories weren't/aren't revealed back-to-back (since still more information is probably going to be revealed about the Kages, Tobi, the tailed-beasts, Kabuto, Itachi, Sasuke, etc.).

As for Sasuke's eyes bleeding, EMS only means that he is not going to lose his vision; he is still going to experience the other side-effects of over-using/straining his sharingan.
