Piano tuts

Hey guys, I just picked up my keyboard from my old appartment and tend to start playing again.
Though I forgot most of the songs I used to be able to play, I never learned to read notes.

So, my question is; Is it necessary to learn notes? And does anyone know a site where you can easily do so?
And if anyone can name some easy-to-learn songs for the keyboard/piano, name 'em

Have you been playing for a long time? I have to mimic the finger movement to learn a song lol..
I know that song, it's great. A mate of mine can play about 60 songs fluently including 'Yiruma - Kiss the rain'

Check out music theory (dot) net when I was taking music classes in college most all of the teachers recommended that site.
